We stayed for 1 night at WelcomHeritage Ranthambore Forest Resort and it is definitely a good choice! We had booked the Deluxe Room including breakfast from MakeMyTrip.
Smooth, hassle free and prompt. We reached by around 12:45 PM and the room was ready. Check-in process hardly took 5 minutes. Another good thing was that the Hotel arranged for our boarding pass for the safari, including pick-up and drop back to the hotel, for a nominal fee which was a very convenient option!
Extremely spacious room. Comfortable beds and pillows. Clean bathrooms with Biotique bathroom essentials.
Again, smooth, fast and easy. Didn't take much time and we were on our way back to Jaipur pretty soon.
Did stand out and was pretty good. Everyone looked eager and very happy to help throughout our stay.
The food was yummy! We tried the Buffet breakfast (part of the package and quite a few choices here), Buffet Lunch and the Buffet Dinner and all three were tasty and fresh! The people at the hotel also arranged for Coffee and Tea very early in the morning (around 6:15 AM) for those who had the morning safari. Nice touch this was.
At the time of writing this (Early March 2019), Google Maps shows the location about 500m to 600m before the actual location (if you're coming from Jaipur). However, after driving down for those additional 600m, very easy to recognize. And it's hardly 5 mins from the entrance of the Tiger Reserve. Didn't really matter much for us, because pick up and drop off for the safari was from the hotel premises itself!
All in all comfortable stay and I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Ranthambore.
We had a fantastic stay at the White Mushroom tents in Ranthambore. The tents were super comfortable and cozy, well equipped with hot water and room heaters (which we needed as it was freezing cold in February) and air conditioners for the warmer seasons too. The roses all over the gardens were in full bloom and the lawns lush green and well maintained. We must make a special mention of the super efficient service and warm hospitality extended to us by Raju who was at our tent door at sharp 6am with piping hot chai before we left for our safari. He later served us a delicious breakfast out in the garden. Good food, good ambience, great service. Tents are brand new and beautifully furnished. Would love to return to this lovely place again. Many thanks for a memorable stay.
We came here for a short vacation and the best part is each member of resort made our vacation a worthwhile experience and a memorable one.
Resort Manager Mr. C. P Singh, restaurant manager (Mr. Vinod), helper Mr. Dev and room service(Mr. Rajkumar) made our two days enjoyable.
Mr. C P Singh gave us best guidance for sarfari and stay, Mr. Vinod and Mr. Dev - never say no attitude gave us a royal experience
The resort has cultural programs in evening and nice sitting area in the middle of the resort for guests.
Hygiene and on other front beautifully maintained. Swimming pool cleaned on regular basis. Restaurant area well Maintained.
For Kidsthey have play area and games like carrom, swing etc.
Would have expected more on kids play section but this much is also OK....
Its value for money resort and anyone coming to ranthambore should stay at this resort and specially for food they would not haveto travel anywhere.
Location: On the road to Ranthambore Park (main gate) (zones 1 -6). Before booking please ensure, the zone of your safari as the other zones are situated far from this resort and you surely would not like a city safari before the real jungle safari. The property is very big, with well maintained lawns and gardens, swings and small playground. The rooms are quite big and clean, but there was smell of damp in the ground floor room in which we stayed. The AC (split) was making too much of a whirring noise too. The windows open towards the side passage and thus there is no vie w from the room itself. However there is a common area for two rooms in both the ground and first floor level, where you can sit and enjoy.
The pool is quite big and a kiddie pool is alongside it. Restaurant serves a good fare and the staff is quite courteous and polite ( specially the elderly waiter who said his name was Chaudhary). The resort also offers a Bar facility. The staff are all courteous ,but they may book taxis for you at a higher rate than normal (taking their own commission from the booking), so it is better if you book your own taxi. They also arranged for a rajsathani folk song and dance night, which was quite a good experience.
Overall it was a very nice experience in the resort
The property is well maintained and beautiful. Food served is good. Electric kettle and tea/ coffee supply is sufficient. Room service is not promoted but the staff is helpful and polite. Its located on the main road from sawai madhopur to tiger reserve.
Although due to tourist destination that Ranthambore is... the cab as well as auto fares are exaggerated. One has to negotiate.
Overall the hotel was a nice experience. Given we had booked safari tickets online... we saved a lot on last minute bookings thru agents.
