This is a very comfortable hotel set in a lovely garden with a great pool. It's a little out of the bustle of Jodhpur and there is very little to do within walking distance. However that is easily compensated by the hotel itself which is very restful. We didn't eat there in the evening but breakfast was more than adequate. I was unable to get internet in my room which was the furthest away from the lobby but could get it easily there. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights on the 16th-17th Nov 2013. The hotel is about 4km south of the old city in a quit location. The hotel gardens and pool are a serene place to enjoy and the restaurant provides excellent meals. Our room was spacious but a little more attention is required in the cleanliness and rugs replaced or cleaned. Our bathroom faced a side street which had a pile of garbage along and the smell drifted in through the exhaust fan. Although the staff were friendly and helpful they seemed a little on edge and not relaxed.
I would still recommend this hotel if you want to be away from the city centre.

We spent 2 nights here checking in late in the evening after dark. The rooms are LARGE and comfortable but feel a bit dated in terms of amenities. The rooms have many big windows which necessitated that curtains are kept drawn at all times otherwise anyone passing by had full view of the room. Some rooms have nice big sit areas. The surprise, however, awaited us the next morning when we were able to get a better look at the hotel. It's a lush green oasis. The cottages are nestled amongst a dense, well maintained foliage with some water bodies / fountains thrown in. We wished that we could just wile away some time in the hotel just switching off but alas the greed of catching as much of the city in the day and half that we spent there meant that we were out for most part of the day. The couple that runs the hotel is very friendly and gave us many tips on places to visit, shop, stay in and eat at not only in Jodhpur but also in other parts of Rajasthan. The rooms are all in ground plus one storey cottages we recommend that people with difficulty climbing stairs ensure that they get ground floor rooms as the steps are a bit steep especially for the elderly.

Rajasthan is famous for its hospitality & our trip started with Devi Bhawan & just proved it right. Lovely serene hotel.Manager Mr Rakesh Singh was most helpful & guided us well regarding local transportation & shopping areas. Staff is very courteous & warm. Bhawani Singh in the restaurant takes care of you as though you are his personal guest. Others staff also go out of their way to help.
We initially stayed 2 nights in the upstairs Deluxe room overlooking the pool with a lovely balcony. Again on our return we stayed another night & this time we we stayed on the ground floor. Spacious rooms, cosy & comfortable. Two things we missed, would have loved to have a tea/coffee service in the room. Bathrooms didn't have hooks which could be a problem!

We chose to stay at Devi Bhawan because of the pool. We were traveling with our 4 children, and temperatures in Rajastan have been approaching 120 degrees F. I called ahead two nights before we were planning to arrive, and reserved 2 rooms. (This has been fairly standard in India, because we are traveling as a group of 6.) We agreed on a price of 2,000 rupees per room.

When we arrived, we were impressed with the layout and the facilities. It is a beautiful hotel. However, the man that showed us to our room immediately told us that there would be an additional 400 rupee charge per room for an extra bed. I said that we didn't need extra beds, but he said that they would apply the same charge either way. I was starting to get frustrated at this point, so I asked to speak to the manager. We got him on the phone, and he said "As I told you on the phone, we will need to charge you an extra 400 rupees for extra beds, whether or not you use them." I explained that he had never mentioned that charge, and since I was renting two rooms, why would I need an extra bed? He said that nonetheless, he would charge me. At this point, I was downright angry, and I told him so. He then backed down, and said that he would just charge me the 2000 rupees that we had agreed on.

Things settled down at that point, and we spent two very enjoyable nights at the hotel. The pool was beautiful, and the grounds were very nice.

I did have two other minor complaints:
1. The hotel only has wifi near the main office. You can't access it from the restaurant, the pool, or your hotel room. Furthermore, their internet connection was quite spotty. (They never guaranteed wifi, so I don't particularly hold it against them, but be aware that you won't be able to sit in your room and surf TripAdvisor)
2. I was unimpressed with the restaurant. And, on two occasions, the restaurant employees tried to guilt us into eating there. ("Why do you go out in the evening and not eat at my restaurant?")

Overall, I would strongly suggest that the buyer beware with this hotel. The grounds, pool and room are beautiful -- but I was left with a bad taste in my mouth.

No. Don't think they have a suite that big. But they do have big rooms, with adjoining small rooms (on the terrace area), with a small, cozy verandah separating the two. Should be a good choice.
