pls don't go by the premium tag attached to the name of the hotel. For those looking at premium stay can safely avoid this hotel. The good point was that i required a early check in by around an hour or so..and after waiting for 20-25 minutes, they agreed to allot me a room. However, the room that they allotted had a renovation going in the neighborhood and the noise was unbearable. On complaining about the same, they agreed to change the room. Even the noise was coming in the new room too, but the category of the noise was now just about bearable. My point is that the hotel should be vigilant enough in the first place to not allot such a room. This all changing the room etc costs precious time and peace of mind too. The decor is rundown and even the bathroom in the room does not give a very clean look in terms of workmanship.
The food was just about okay, nothing home to write about.
Now about the good points and there are only a few. The location is very good and the personal service is damn good. Staff goes out of their way to resolve the issues.
Overall, just about an average hotel.

Location: Hotel is located at prime and peaceful area. From this hotel airport is just at 5 to 7km distance.
Hotel Room: Posesses all basic facilities which any tourist wants.It has big room with central AC system
TV, fridge etc. Very nice bathroom with Tub.
Food facility : They have their own restaurant in which they provide very tasty and quality food.
Hotel staff : Hotel staff is very co-operative and prompt in action. They makes room cleaning daily with care.

Our stay at Swosti Premium was lack luster. The front office is loaded with 6 to 7 employees but they don't interact anything with the guest. There is no small talk, no courteous smile or not even a good response on anything. Within the first 10 minutes at the check-in stage we saw that there were hardly any ladies in the property. In the upcoming days we learnt about how numerous court cricket teams were lodged in the hotel. The crowd of cricket team was terrible due to the loud chat they would have and contributed to the chaos at the breakfast area daily! We could smell cigarette in our floor and room probably due to AC vents! The room service is not at all done well. They dont wash used coffee mugs, never replaced the coffee station items or facial tissues in the bath area. The house keeping was minimalistic and not in keeping with that of a star hotel. During lunch and dinner we were always pushed to eat buffet by saying that A La Carte would take around 30 minutes. We succumbed and ate buffet lunch the first day and it was exorbitantly charged at 1700 per person! Even in metro cities we have seen 5 star hotels charge a modest 1000-1200 per person and 1700 at Swosti for an average lunch spread was a rip off. So we decided to eat A La Carte rest of the time despite hearing the 30 minute wait time disclaimer each time! There was no special program for Christmas eve/day. Guests were given one Eclairs chocolate each by the thinnest Santa in town!
We left completely unimpressed with most of the staff at Swosti who dont seem to take any interest in the guests. During our stay we heard a big commotion in the lobby by a family of 4 adults shouting at the front desk staff about how room service took more than 2 hours on both days they ordered! The staff didnt seem to do any damage control for this and we saw the family leave the hotel fuming still probably to eat dinner outside. We had ordered room service once but our experience with it was fine.
The only 2 people I would like to mention in this otherwise boring place are the dining room staff Mr. Kamal SK and Mr. Satyanarayana Patro both of whom managed our table excellently! They are both very quick, attentive and guest-centric. Kudos to both of these staff! The 3 stars in this review are only for them!
