We are 6 travelers from Thailand and stayed at boathouse during 5-9 December, 2015.
The boathouse atmosphere make me feel warm like home. With traditional decoration it's very beautiful. There are 3 bedrooms (with bathroom included in each room), a living room and a dining room in a boathouse. All rooms are clean and comfortable, they provide electric blanket on a bed to keep us warm during our sleep. Free Wifi is available at the living room and hot water for bathing is also available 2 times a day.
The package are include
-Accommodation
-Breakfast, dinner and lunch pack, fresh fruits, tea & coffee for every day
-Day trip package (Gardens in Srinagar, Pahalgam, Sonamarg, Gulmarg)
-Shikara ride, pony ride at Pahalgam
-Car service for 5 days, airport pick-up roundtrip.
"Mr.Shafi" who is the owner of boat house is very kind and willing to service us like family member.
He's always looking and helping when we have any requirements or problems. He gave us many suggestions about how to do when we're going to each place (how to walk in a market safely?, how to deal with horsemen at Pahalgam, Sonamarg, etc.)
"Mr.Kayum and Mr...." (I can't remember his name) who are housekeepers were very good service and polite, they're always asking for our satisfaction and they've done all requirements with their smile.
The cooker, I don't know his name but he done a *very very delicious meals for us. He adjust the taste to be easy to eat for Thai people, not too much spices. He can do every menu that we're required.
Mr.Ishu who was our tour guide for 3 days at Pahalgam, Sonamarg and Gulmarg. He have good service mind, good communication, he can answer all our questions . He's never decline our requirements and always willing to support us all the time.
Mr.Maq who was our driver is very proficient and good driver. Never show any negative acting even we've been trough a very traffic jam. He's always laugh with us when we faced the weird situation on the road.
Mr.Aijaz who contact with us by e-mail is very good supporter, he gave clear answers and useful information for us.
So...this was such a great trip of my first time in Kashmir. We're very impressed their service and support. I'm sure that I would go back to Kashmir again with the support from The Shelter Group of Houseboats. :)

We had wonderful stay and memorable trip.It was amazing place for stay . The interior of was unique total kashmiri traditional style.

The houseboat is located by the river which, I think, makes it better compared to those located in Dal Lake. The houseboat were not side by side so we had a great view from the window. Exquisite interior and very homey. Our room was equiped with hot shower, electric blanket and it's quite spacious. The service was also good and made sure we're good. It's also walking distance from the market so we had a lovely walk at night. Totally recommended this place.

Serene and enthralling experience. The houseboat has got all modern facilities like wi-fi, room heaters ,electric blankets etc.The staff were very co-operative and cordial .There were no hassles at all we stayed for 3 days enjoying the shikara rides and relaxing.The traditional wooden heater system was quite a fascinating experience.Would love to visit again.

Shelter houseboat- deluxe was good enough during our visit.
the hospitality was 5 star....very attentive...great ppl.
you can call them directly and confirm you comfort for any doubt of yours.
