We didn't know what to expect coming to Cambodia, but we were incredibly impressed when we got to the room! The hotel was brand new, only 4 months old. They had a private driver waiting for us at the airport and to the hotel. On arrival, they had hot towels and juice waiting for us. Check-in was smooth, and they made sure to let us know the amenities available. The manager and desk staff were super-friendly. En route to our room they took us on a brief tour, pointing out the restaurant, pool, spa.
Entering our room, we noticed we had been upgraded, with a corner room - with the corner all glass windows, with great view of the surrounding area. Giant king size bed, comfortable mattress, and quality sheets! Plenty of closet space and good size shower. Previous reviews said they did not have hot-water, this has been fixed! We had nice hot showers (although it did take awhile for the water to heat up).
The salt water pool was beautiful and peaceful with great sun for most of the day. It was a great place to relax after a long day touring the nearby Angkor Temples in the sun! The restaurant had a tasty breakfast. The staff was able to accommodate all of our requests, including a late check-out because of an evening flight, so we could relax one more day by the pool.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to pub street, with a scenic view of the river along the way - so nightlife, bars and restaurants are easily accesible.
Overall a fantastic experience and definitely will stay here again if we return to Siem Reap.

Location-wise, this hotel is pretty good. Staff is friendly and efficient. The hotel also offers good package tours. Breakfast is decent but skip the restaurant and head to Pub Street, just a $2 tuktuk ride away, for good food. The bad thing about this hotel is the wi-fi; works only at the lobby area.

What an experience! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty by Pin and his team. Room was fantastic, shower is amazing. Pool was great. Close to the city, we walked it in less than 10 mins. The guided tour they organized with a guide is a bargain at $80, so worth it for the air conditioned Jeep, unlimited water and wet towels they supply. The tour guide was fantastic (regrettably, I can’t remember his name) giving us his in depth knowledge on Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Tomb Raider Temples. The food in the restaurant for dinner was also amazing. On a special note, it was my girlfriends birthday, which I had asked them to organise flowers. They coundnt have being more helpful, the whole staff came to the room with a birthday cake. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed stayed in. Fantastic!

Excellent hotel, I told that we would be in our honeymoon so the staff arranged the room with flowers and our names. The room it's really big with a king size bed, the bathroom it's very good with a nice shower. The swimming pool it's just perfect to relax after the day at the temples. The hotel staff it's by far the most kind in all our Asia trip and the breakfast was excellent, I miss the omelet so much. Not far from the pub street and the night market, walking you take around 10/15 min or by U$2 you can take the tuktuk in front of the hotel. The hotel have a restaurant and the prices are very good. I would definitely stay here again. Some reviews talk about the alligator farm next to the hotel, we didn't think that the farm bother us, we used the pool and didn't notice any smell or anything that could make our stay worse, didn't bother at all.

We had a wonderful experience at Damrei starting with the complimentary airport pick up which was waiting for us. The reception staff were always friendly, professional and attentive.
We had a ground floor garden room with the most beautiful bath. It was roomy and modern and clean. The only downside is the bed - very hard! The WiFi was great - quick and constant.
The pool was nice but one time there was not enough sun loungers for us to sit by it.
The breakfast was great - lots of choice, western and Asian.
I also highly recommend the family run restaurant across the road from the hotel - Watbo: friendly with great food. Their Amok is our favourite so far!
