Stop searching for a place to stay in Siem Reap and chose the Damrei! Perfect location, wonderful service from all the staff, good breakfasts, spa was excellent! USD15 for a 30-40m leg massage which I had immediately after arriving from the airport and a 20 hour journey from the UK and it was incredible. And after a long day exploring temples there is nothing better to do than jump in the pool and order a cocktail!

This place would be great but the Wi-Fi is absolutely horrible throughout the premises, except in the café. I could be sitting in one place and the Wi-Fi would go in and out. The breakfast buffet has a nice selection. The hotel prepared a take-out breakfast for our Angkor Wat sunrise. I also had a nice massage at the hotel. The hotel also provides complimentary rides to and from the airport.

Very lovely stay here, the hotel itself is not that big but very warm welcome staff and atmostphere. The staffs were very helpful and attentive. The spa is tiny but nice and calm, I tried body massage and it was excellent. The breakfast was ok not that variety but tasty. Short walk to any attraction in town. Would love to visit again.

Stayed in various places throughout Cambodia and this hotel was by far my favourite. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always there for your needs. The pool/bar was a nice chill spot after a hot day of temples. The quality of the twin room was exceptional. The on-site massage service and restaurant (buffet breakfast) was also fantastic. Easy tuktuk or a hot walk into town. Would stay again. Highly recommended.

We stayed for two weeks and would definitely stay again. The staff were all helpful and welcoming, particularly so when we had a problem with our return flights and needed an extra nights stay at very short notice. The rooms are a good size, kept very clean and we had a great night's sleep, although the mattress is a little on the firm side. The hotel is in a great location, being a short walk to several shops, markets and eateries. Trips can easily be booked at the reception desk if you are not travelling in an organised tour. The pool, which most days we had to ourselves, is of a good size for a town centre hotel and is salt water rather than chlorinated. The grounds, which again are a good size, are very well kept, and make you feel as if the hotel is a little oasis.
Mtes spa was excellent, and I am almost sorry not to have gone more often. The therapists got rid of all our travel aches and pains. It is possible to find a cheaper massage outside the hotel, but I doubt they are any better. A small word of warning. These therapists take no prisoners, so if you are a novice with massage, ask them to be gentle.
A few very minor points to consider. The corredors are external, so there will be wildlife such as geckos and butterflies about. The bathrobes in the rooms are on the small size. The hotel doesn't seem to do flannels. The breakfast buffet is geared more to an Asian style rather than Western (fried rice rather than a full English). There were one or two very minor misunderstandings with language (English is their second or even third language, after all). If there is a large tour group in, then consider going down to breakfast later, as it will be less busy then. There staff top up regularly so there will always be a good choice.
However, don't let these minor points put you off this excellent hotel. We would highly recommend it.
