This is a great hotel, the best hotel complimentary breakfast buffet, really nice rooms, nice atrium with evening social hours, nice pool and hot tub. This was one of my favorite Hilton hotel I have stayed at.
Clea, spacious, lots of extras that come with the stay. Free beverages and snacks were nice. Towels were plush. Heating and air were quiet. Staff was happy and helpful. Workout room was off pool and very warm for a workout.
The pool was so cold that you could not enjoy it. The kids did not want to be in it. The hot tub had way too much chlorine in it to the point your eyes burned. The staff did not inform us that there were free alcoholic drinks before 7pm.
We stayed for the weekend for a family wedding. Rooms were clean and staff very friendly. Food was very good especially breakfast buffet. They offer all types of breakfast foods on the buffet except waffles and omelets which they will order for you fresh and it’s included with you meal. They were delicious! You can order food at the bar but kitchen was only open until 11:00pm. Wish it was later. The courtyard inside the hotel was nice but under construction. The pool is saltwater and very clean.
Stayed here for a family event and was disappointed with my booked 5 night stay. Check in was smooth and front desk was helpful, but the pool and atrium lounge were closed for the duration of our visit.
Breakfast the next morning was good and the wait staff was outstanding, the downside was the construction noise and having everyone pushed into a corner to eat was less than ideal.
On Friday we were getting ready for a wedding and the hot water was out for a few hours and we ended up showering with no hot water just to get ready on time. We went to the front desk but with 4-5 other people there upset we decided to not pile on the staff as it wouldn’t have helped the situation.
The next morning we checked out two nights early due to the stay up to that point. The front desk agent who checked us out acted like we were inconveniencing her and never asked us how our stay was, leaving two days early should spark at least a conversation.
We checked into a property down the road to finish our vacation and the manager called the Hilton on our behalf, she was told if we had an issue we should have come to the front desk and call back when the manager was in if we still had an issue. She was also told no other guests had issues with no hot water which wasn’t true.
We called to speak to the manager and were put on hold before we could speak, we were left on hold for 10 minutes before someone picked up the phone mid conversation with another employee and hung up the phone without speaking to us. We called back but it just rang and nobody answered. We called Hilton corporate and were gifted amenity points but since I do not use Hilton for my business or personal travel it’ll be a while until I can use them. I’m happy with the effort to make things right but a pleasant stay would’ve been better, we’ll continue to take our 30 nights a year elsewhere.
I’ve seen management respond to posts with we’ll have a meeting to make sure it gets better for months but obviously nobody is holding these meetings or cares to make things better at this location.
