Stayed at this hotel as it was the only one in the area with available rooms. The rooms are not up to date. The heat in the room did not work properly. When we said something to front desk about it nothing was done about it. Needless to say lesson learned we will not return

It's somewhat hard to describe this place. Imagine a hotel as ridiculously un-maintained as you can possibly imagine, then go lower. That is this hotel. As I lay in the room on the wire-spring bed frames with pillow-case-less 2" thick pillows, I surveyed the room and came to the conclusion that 90% of the room was broken and/or filthy. Towel racks, drapery rods, fan light - all broken. The carpet was filthy and stained beyond description. We bought some cleaner and cleaned the room ourselves because it was so sickening. We also bought a shower mat, towels and pillows just for the stay here. We parked along the weed-filled parking lot next to a junk van with flat tires full of trash and garbage. I considered offering to repair things in the room if they let me stay there for free, but realized that in a few months this whole building will probably just fall over. I feel bad for the owner but I hope no one stays here and the place closes. It's ridiculously bad, it's a health hazard and the entire building should be condemned. It doesn't matter how far you have to drive - if this is the only place in Alma with a room available, go somewhere - anywhere - else. Sleep in your car if you have to. Trust me on this.

On Tuesday we called to reserve 2 rooms. On Wednesday we went to see the rooms no coffee pots in rooms, and noticed the pools was closed, The hotel smells musty, but the kids were looking forward to swimming so, we asked if the pool would be open on Friday, the day we had reserved, she said it would be they just closed it for the day to fix a few things. On Friday morning I called and asked about the pool they said it is not open to the public, only guests, so I said so if I have a room we can use the pool, he told me to hang on, came back to the phone and said yes if you are a paying guest. I asked about inflatables they told me I could have them. I spent $70 in pool toys. We get there to check in and ask about the pool again just to be sure, they said the pool is closed, not even open to paying guests. SOOOOOO We did not stay!!!!!!!!!!!

Nasty place that can only be described as a major dive. Dirty, Smells, very very poor broken down condition. Not sure where the Suites come from - there are none.

The sheets had not been changed and appeared to have a fresh "skid mark" on it. The room was only $50.00 but would not stay there again if it was free. Not kidding at all.had to sleep on top of the bed with all my clothes on. The room dresser, small table and bedside table appeared to be from the 60"s and where all marked up, stained and dirty.

Never ever have I stayed at a place that was sooooooo unprofessional, dirty, and completely low-life.

The front desk closes at night and wasn't even open when I left at 7:30am. The advertising said it included breakfast at the Big Boy, but it did not.

This hotel may not be the most up to date in decor but it was clean and comfortable and the staff was amazing!

When we checked in, Ashley was working the front desk. She helped us change our room to the jacuzzi suite and even walked down to the room to show it to us before we paid for it to make sure we were happy with it. She was very friendly and helped us get our Roku set up with the TV in the room.

Our family goes to Alma for the annual anime convention and the hotel choices are limited. It was worth the money that we paid to stay there and the friendliness of the staff has secured our business for next years convention!

Our room had a brand new flat screen HDTV. The jacuzzi tub was a good size and worked wonderfully. The free wifi was very strong - we used it to stream shows on the Roku and it worked better than our internet at home.

There was an issue with the jacuzzi leaking when you turned the jets on. Also, the furniture was outdated and mismatched but comfortable (king size bed and pull out couch and arm chair in one room, leather sofa and love seat in hot tub room) and clean. The full size refrigerator was worn but worked well and was very clean.
