Write a reviewThis is a lovely hotel with an old world feel. Staff are also very friendly. We only had one night before we embarked on a cruise. We had been booked in for some months and arrived around 9.30 pm. It wasn't until we showered and tried to use the facilities that we discovered we only had one towel, the TV did not work, and nor did the air conditioning. Having travelled for a day and a half we were too tired to follow up. The next morning we discovered we were given a single room, not a double, as booked and paid for. We were given more towels but it really was too late by then. Sad.

Have been staying here for over 10years. The services have gone down from the days of Taj. Towels torn and old. No face towels, just bath towels. Breakfast boring. Not properly set. Food cold, though set on warmers, had to ask food be microwaved. I think i have to move on. Not coming back.

On arrival we asked to pay extra for tourists fees while I booked all charges paid, then 300 dhs blocked from credit card as a deposit so I won't run away from them.
Awful breakfast, no variety, same food everyday , the waiters just tired and overworked, no smile all grumpy. You got to ask for food when they run out there is no one to check. Also second lots coming not fresh . Old croissants. I hated them.
The two good points are: Room Size and Location.
The hotel need serious refurbishment. It's old looking room with old 32 inch TV from samsung first made maybe 20 years ago.
The pictures on the walls so weird. Not sure who's choice that could be.
I don't know who give them 5 Star its diffinatly below 3 stars for me .
A big disappointment. I do not recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family. I rather chose crown plaza , alghurair which are in real fact 5 star with 5 star services .

Two of my friends are coming to dubai so I booked a 2 br apartment here to we can spend some quality time. Me and my friend checked in first and I was asked how many are we in total, I told the not so friendly staff that we are total of four like I declared in the booking but the two will come late, right away the staff said "no parties allowed". I didn't say we are going to have a party yet it seems like he assumed right away. So I let that go and proceeded to our room. Since we booked an apartment, we assumed that there will be kitchen stuffs like pans, plates etc. We brought food so we wanna heat it up but no microwave and a decent pan to use aside from the small old casserole. The kitchen is dirty so as the plates, glasses, spoon and fork (like there were never used and wash for such a long time, dusty). Also the beds and pillows are all worn out, not comfortable to sleep on. So two of my friends came and they went straight to went to your room". So i told them we are four like I said when we checked in, again they reminded me that we cannot accept anymore visitors since we are already 4! Like seriously?? even visitors? I mean, we are not expecting any visitors but hello??? all hotels allows visitors. They totally ruined our mood. We just had dinner and slept there cause we paid for it, but we didn't bother using their amenities because we are all annoyed. I stayed in so many hotels here in dubai and I must say, this is the worst experience I had, never again.

It is a nice hotel, located meters from the metro station "EL Reka", cool pool and jacousy, it is located at the top roof so it is very nice to enjoy the scenery while you stay in the pool ;)
i didn't have time to go to the gym but it looked ok.
breakfast is good and nice. the room is equipped with boiler, tea and coffee as well as mini bar. spacious room with shower and sink.
staff is very friendly and helpful, reception was very nice and professional.
plenty of supermarkets in the area with almost everything you need to eat or drink
If you don't like the smell of indian incense, you will not be happy, after all it is an indian name so indian style should be applied :)

Hi Mr. Puneet, we do have Ambassador Suite that will be suitable for your requirement. In-Room Massage is not possible, however, we have Joodspa in the hotel.
