At first I was a little disappointed not to have air conditioning, but, voila, the owners brought a big and effective fan, which I only used on the first day. All one had to was to utter a request and it was immediately fulfilled. The room was quiet and clean and always serviced irrespective of time. Even a late breakfast was provided with a smile and advice was gladly given whenever required. I enjoyed my stay here and would gladly return, and certainly not only because of the excellent value for money.

Lovely little B&B, or guest house, in the heart of Miraflores. The owners are a sweet family that makes you feel like family. The woman who runs it (I feel terrible thst I never got her name) serves a fresh Peruvian style breakfast every morning. The triple room we had was bigger than most hotel rooms, and the bathroom was definitely bigger than most Peruvian bathrooms. Casa Serena is within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, museums and Parque Kennedy, also known as the cat park. And it's great for the price, too.

It's a family run business so the feel of the place is more towards a homestay. We had a triple room for the two of us with a huge bathroom, which included a bathtub. Hot water was fine.

The room was clean and even though it was on the street front was quiet. The breakfast was very nice with bread, jam, cold meat & cheese, plus fresh juice and tea or coffee.

It was a 15 minute walk to the center of Miraflores.

The cost was just a little high compared to other places we've stayed for what you get.

This hotel was less of a hotel and more of a large guest house run by a family. It was a good location, within walking distance of many things in the Miraflores area. The room was large and comfortable, however we were not provided a key to the outside gate and would have to ring the bell and wait for someone to come out and open the gate for us which was slightly inconvenient at night time. I had dietary restrictions (cannot have gluten) and the family was very accommodating and provided other options for breakfast.

I am so glad that I chose Casa Serena as my hotel while visiting Lima, Peru. I found my room to be large, tastefully decorated, and clean. The staff, Jose and Victor, were very helpful and attentive. The hotel is within walking distance to beaches, shopping and restaurants. I have absolutely no complaints and would recommend Casa Serena to anyone visiting Lima.
