I found the hotel from Instagram and I liked a lot the artistic environment. It is indeed a beautiful corner to stop but not for a long time.
The location is perfect, the staff is very caring and polite but the commodities in the room are average.
So for a long time it will disappoint you but for a short stay it's quite good.
Check Point Hotel is a great place to stay in Tbilisi.
It's up a series of winding, hilly streets, overlooked by the Mother of Georgia.
The hotel itself is very colourful, with each wall, door and panel a different and vibrant colour.
We used Bolt on arrival and departure, but every other trip to and from the hotel was on foot.
Our room had large floor space, but the eaves of the roof cut in quite severely. It was also basic, with no fridge, glasses, hairdryer etc, although reception were happy to cool wine and provide glasses, and they also sell beers, wine, soft drinks. I also got my clothes washed by the reception people at a great price. The people working in reception were friendly, hospitable, excellent.
The view from our room was outstanding. It overlooks a rooftop bar, which makes a bit of noise, so we went over there for a few drinks and had a great time.
This place is awful.. didn’t have water in my room, loud all the time.. their breakfast was the worst during my stay in Tbilisi... drunk owners (or staff) partying at 3am..
Never again coming to this place
nice hotel to stay for few days, nice location and design. room is good and clean. close to city center. not good to stay more than 4 or 5 days since night clubs are around and music till 4 am. the receptionist was nice, friendly and helpful. the transportation from and to the airport was well arranged.
