Stayed at the Carawan for five nights while on a business trip in Riyadh. I was booked into a suite so had plenty of room. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the only gripe was that there was very few English language TV stations, just CNN. Breakfast was buffet style and covered all bases as did lunch with a selection of breads, salads and middle eastern dishes which all tasted very good.Staff were very professional and friendly and I would recommend staying at this hotel.
Booked the hotel for an impromptu business trip to KSA.
Flawless check in experience and very easy to book with option of airport pickup.
Hotel Room is okay. Not all the plugs work and some of the mounts are shaky. The decor could be slightly more on point and less rough round the edges.
I’m not sure if the AC unit is actually hitting the required temperature as the room is still quite warm and does make it difficult to sleep.
The safe is large and can accommodate a laptop unlike piddly ones encountered before. Plenty of space for clothes to hang and to fold. Room service is quick and the food has been decent thus far.
Bathroom is okay but the location of the toilet immediately behind the door can be tedious with constant banging on opening the door, might just be my room, who knows.
I did feel the gym could have more dumbbells, barbells, benches and equipment in general, I was mislead in the initial survey of the hotel.
Money was required fully upfront upon checking in, which was slightly forceful and unlike other hotels I’ve stayed at. They do offer good rates for Forex, some of the best actually.
Stay has been good at the hotel so far but there are a number of factors I would work on.
Although it is not like luxury hotels but it is comfortable hotel. The staff very helpful and friendly, the service very good. Food delicious and there are many options. The room also comfortable and clean. The location very good, in front of kingdom tower. I really like this hotel
This hotel is clean, central and efficient and suited me well as a woman travelling alone. The staff were excellent and offer a service quite unlike anything in KSA, more on a level with UAE. There is no evening restaurant, which helps keep costs low but a good room service choice, which suited me, as its difficult to go out alone, and often ordering take-out is variable on the city. People couldnt have been nicer.
Good basic buffet breakfast, fast checkout, comfortable rooms with all you need. no its not the Ritz Carlton but doesnt pretend to be. I have tried all the western chains and would come back here before wasting my money on them.
Not quite on a par with other Riyadh business hotels. Not bad but not great either.
Having the bedroom windows 'whited out' was a bit strange. Room was spacious and comfortable. TV Channel choices limited.
Hotel is well located, close to Kingdom Centre.
The rate was SAR400 per night (I think) which is probably less than par.
