We've stayed The Costa Residences for 2 night. My room was impressive with great sea view and 2 separate bed rooms. Receptionist very friendly and helpful, they provide d good service with enthusiasm whenever we asked. Highly recommended this hotel, good place to stay.
It locates at the center of the busiest street of Nha Trang city.
The room is clean and the location is great. Staffs are friendly. The room has kitchen, oven, washing machine,... It's a great place for family. The pool is a bit small.
After arriving at a hotel nearby to discover the pool was being renovated and it did not meet our expectations, we set off on foot to find somewhere else to stay....The Costa definitely ticked all the boxes....great value, beautiful modern suites with everything you could possibly need, gorgeous pool, stunning beach view, with furnished balcony, friendly, attentive staff, central location....this place has it all. An added bonus was it was not over run with buses of tourists. It felt like home but with a modern, upmarket feel, without the price tag to match. We had a lovely two bedroom unit (which appeared hard to find in the area). If you are staying in Nha Trang, look no further...The Costa is the only place to stay. 🤩
Our 2 night stay at The Costa Nha Trang was the worst part of our holiday. Pictures are misleading, the rooms look nothing like the photos don’t waste your money here.
When we got to our room we were so shocked at the difference between the room and the false advertising they have online. The furniture was old and dated, the bedsheets were stained, everything in the kitchen was old and dirty, and the bathroom smelt like sewage. There was no phone to call the front desk only a phone number to text the staff that checked us in, when I asked him why the room was different to photos he kept apologising and said he only had one other room which would’ve been the same “design”.
Housekeeping came once to clean, the 2nd day we were still sleeping so we asked them to come back in a hour but they never came back. The bed felt so dirty my partner woke up with rashes and bite marks all over his face and body. We did not sleep well at all during our entire stay here.
No fresh towels, housekeeping just cleaned the floor and tidy up the balcony. They do have a washing machine which is nice but the clothes line is on the balcony next to the air conditioning unit, so if you’d like to dry your clothes you can do so with the hot air coming out of the dusty air con. There was also an old pram and some dirty towels hanging on the balcony which made us think someone actually lives in this apartment and gets out when they get bookings (if I wanted an Airbnb I would’ve booked one which would’ve been cleaner and a lot cheaper than what we paid).
My husband, my daughter and I had stayed at this hotel previously in Nov-Dec 2018 for 3 weeks, service was impressive and we enjoyed it, so we chose this place again for our stay in Aug 2019, for 2 weeks. However, service this time was appalling. We had removed the "do not disturb" sign from our door, and the staff did not bother coming to check or clean our room at all until asked. This was very disappointing as we have paid a lot of money for the room and got absolutely no service or maintenance at all. Secondly, during our checkout on Aug 15 11AM, the woman wearing glasses at the reception was extremely rude and accused my husband for opening a water bottle in the fridge when we did not. She had wasted our time for over 20 minutes and humiliated my husband in front of all the staff and asked them to go upstairs into the room and check whether he had opened any other bottles. Why would we lie about a water bottle which costs 20 or 30 cents? Absolutely disrespectful behaviour considering we have been loyal customers to this hotel. Lastly, while we were waiting for the taxi, another staff very rudely walked around us and did not even bother to greet or acknowledge us. She even rudely tried to intrude and inspect us acting like we stole something. I am extremely disappointed at the behaviour of staff and the terrible service at this hotel. I think the managers need to do a better job at training their staff or getting better ones. This is not a 5-star service hotel at all, more like 2-stars I would say. We will not be coming back at all.
