You probably wouldn't want to stay for a week - the rooms are on the small side - but it was fine for a night. The waiter/receptionist was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, as was the only other member of staff we met. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, although the wifi was a lot better downstairs in the bar/restaurant. Breakfast included freshly cooked omelettes. You can also get a reasonable evening meal - simple cooking, but filling and tasty.
Hotel would be a bit much to name it, the describtion of 'Gaststätte, suits more. It's one of the few in this area. It's location is close to the main attracting spots, beach and all can be reached by foot easily.
The room left to the entrance it's not only the eating room, but also the bar and check-in/out.
the parking is wherever you find place along the road.
The room itself was more of a cosy nature.
The menu could have a bit more of variante, yet it depends if you eat all day there or occasionaly.
Overall it's ok and hopefully they can improve a bit more in future, yet therefore people have to come in.
Hotel location is goog, near the see. Rooms were clean and size is ok. Bathroom was dark and no ventilation. In our room was 2 beds pushed together and there was gap between beds, so it is not double bed! Breakfast was ok,but started too late for us (08:00am).
Well were were looking for a place to crash at during a roadtrip of Kurland region of Latvia. This seemed just what we were looking for. Plain, simple, close to Kolka horn. The price was reasonable for summer.
The place is really simple - old small TV, simple fridge, hard and uncomfy bed. But you should not come here seeking luxury.
Staff is very nice and breakfast is large. Maybe could do with a little less fatty foods but thats just me. All in all I recommend this place and recommend that you keep in mind how I described this hotel. More like a roadside motel.
