I hosted 10 people at the hotel for two nigits. The building looks fancy, but the reception itself was a bit of a disapointment. Also it took quite some time to check in the 11 of us.
Rooms and common areas are really good! I didnt have time to check out the gym and pool. Location is nice an premium, and the outside terrace was great for some afternoon refreshments.
Great location, right on the royal route, next to the presidential palace and the old town. There is a bus right in front of the hotel to the central railway station. The hotel lobby is quite grand and the breakfast very nice. The service is quite lacking. Nobody from guest service or reception answered the phone after 5 min ringing from my room. My other gripe is during my 2-night stay, the spa area was under maintenance, I was not told in advance and the hotel also didn’t do anything to make up for it. I am not sure I would have paid the premium to stay here if I had known that the sauna/steam room/pool were unusable.
Perfect location, close to Old town, amazing restaurants and shops. Spacey rooms with extra comfortable beds. Service was excellent and staff was very helpful and friendly. Every detail in the hotel is perfectly designed, from the reception to the top. Swimming pool, sauna and gym are very clean.
This was our first stop on our two-week independent tour of Eastern Europe. We used the old Starwood cash and points option, which was significantly more generous than the options offered in the new Marriott program. We were automatically upgraded to a suite with two bathrooms that had an old world spacious feel. There is also a beautiful pool on the lower level of the hotel. The entire staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating and we especially appreciated the kind and professional assistance rendered by the concierges, Pawel and Slawomir. We did find that Uber was a better choice for transport than taxis as it was consistently less expensive and quicker to respond. This hotel should be your top choice in Warsaw but may face some stiff competition from the new Raffles across the street.
Just back from a quick trip to Warsaw that we decided we needed a hotel with a pool for. This narrows your choices to the more luxury end of the market. After some consideration we selected to stay in the Bristol and we were not disappointed.
The location is great - right next to old town.
The staff were all excellent. Right from check-in to check-out the service was top class.
The breakfasts were the usual European 5 star affair of a mix of hot and cold offerings and some great bread. All very relaxed but attentive at the same time.
We stayed on the 7th floor so we had quite a big room (2 in fact).
The standard of fixtures, fittings and cleanliness were superb. Could not fault.
So if you are visiting Warsaw and want a treat, stay in the Bristol!
