This is a really nice historic hotel in a great location, pretty much smack in the middle of Lublin. Right on the main square, only 5 min walk to old town and lots of bar, restaurants and shops close by.

Room was small with two single beds but as a solo traveller was not a problem. Nicely stocked mini-bar and complimentary water each day.

Breakfast was good and filled you up for the day. They also sell basic amenities you may have forgotten, like soap, deodorant, toothpaste etc

Car park is very secure and round the back of the hotel (very easy to find with a SatNav), although quite a tight passageway leading to it so a big 4x4 may struggle a bit. But lots of spaces and only 35 zloty per 24 hour period. You can obviously come and go from it.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms overlooking the main street as very noisy at weekends with revellers.

I stayed at Hotel Europe for three nights in December 2017. I liked the place very much.
The location is good to explore Lublin by foot. The hotel is located in the pedestrian zone and the old tine is a 5 minutes walk away.
It is a nice old building and the room was clean. Bed was a bit to soft. Breakfast was good, but if there are many guests (on the first two mornings there was a large tour group at the hotel) the buffet was not refilled quickly.
On the second day WIFI didn’t work – on the other days WIFI worked without problem.
Good value for money.

I made our reservation via the telephone, and the receptionist was extremely polite and helpful, not even asking for credit card information.
On arrival we were greeted warmly and given a suite overlooking the square.
Unfortunately, after dinner out, we returned to find the air conditioning unit wasn’t working. No problem! We were assigned another room immediately, and helped to move our luggage.
The hotel is based at the corner of a pedestrianised area close to good restaurants, bars, ice-cream stands, and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. They have secure, paid parking, but it’s a little tricky to find, so make a reservation ahead of time, and ask for clear directions, or use Google Maps to find it.
The staff were wonderful, and while the hotel is spotlessly clean, and provides a number of amenities such as robes, slippers, refrigerator, hairdryer etc. the whole place is very tired looking, and in desperate need of an uplift! It could be quite exquisite with new decor and furniture given the good bones of its structure, especially since Lublin is increasingly becoming more of a tourist destination.

Park your car in a safe parking place and your are invites by a friendly servant in the reception. Checking in is a walk in the park. The rooms are OK.
You are in the middle of Lublin and no noices coming in the room. Only positive remarks. Maybe the way they service a beer.....but who cares.

The hotel is located perfectly at the walking area just 5 minutes walking distance to the old town of Lublin. Furthermore we had a great view from our room to the famous Plac Litewski. Another great value is the private guarded parking lot with direct access to the hotel.
If you take the 4* rating in consideration nevertheless there are to drawbacks: The breakfast buffet is boring, every day you find exactly the same salads, cheese, meat, bread (just one kind of bread)...you can order fresh eggs on request, which is positive of course.
The second drawback is the obvious limited motivation of the stuff. If you request something it will be fulfilled - but you have to request everything. You are never asked by the stuff „Do you like this or this“ which I experienced in any 4* hotel in Poland so far. To differentiate my great experiences in other Hotels from this stay the conclusion therefore is a 3* rating only.
