First to mention they're taking no covid measures, which made us felt a little unsafe and we had to sanitize the room using our own sanitizers.
We visited Alcor in Jan 2021. To start with the resort is slightly away from the fort area and when we visited was nearly empty. Both of which are good things. We had a good time lazing around and sun bathing.
When we checked in we found one of the blankets completely stained. Which was later changed on request. The rooms are Ok though not great and felt like old and heavily used. The cleanliness was good though.
However, the service and hospitality left much to be desired. We were a family with both young and old. On our final day, we wanted to leave early due to long drive and farmer protest and requested them to provide breakfast at 7:00 AM. They promptly refused saying we're serving guests drinking till mid night and cook/chef will not be able to wake early tomorrow. We requested them to provide tea and toasts at least which they agreed upon. However, we waited till 7:30 AM and nobody turned up and in the end we had to leave empty stomach and let go of the breakfast we already paid for.
What we don't understand is they are Ok serving drunkards till midnight, however not OK providing breakfast to a family with young child and Sr. citizen. Something we believe should've been done morally and let alone the price point they're charging.
Perhaps they've gotten used to easy money from tons of guests visiting only for drinks from other states.

I visited Alcor resort on new year eve of 2019, the whole resort was decorated beautifully, got the warmest welcome ever from the staff.The room was really hygienic and big enough and the view from my room was spectacle. The food was extremely impressive with multiple cuisine. I can surely say that I got the best spa ever from their professional team. At night there were events organised by the resort such as the puppet shows Which were very entertaining. The part which I liked the most was the sports room in which you can play table tennis, badminton, foosball and there was a availablity of a guitars for music lovers as well as the Karaoke sets and most importantly the swimming pool was clean and well maintained.So enjoyed my time at Alcor and it's by far my best staying place.
