Our host and house were lovely. The breakfast was basic but fine. The room comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. Its a 20-25 minute walk into town but if you dont mind the walk its a good way to walk off dinner! The outlook over the bush land was lovely and peaceful.

We stayed here for one night, and wished we had booked for longer since Kathy's B&B was superb. Exceptionally clean accommodation, comfortable bed, fantastic room and ensuite bathroom. We found plenty to see and do in and around Whangarei - if you'd like a fantastic meal, then go to the Love Mussell restaurant in town.
If you're planning on visiting the Whangarei, we'd highly recommend you book this accommodation.

First stay in New Zealand and how lucky we were. Welcomed by our host Cathy we were taken to our fabulous bedroom with a large ensuite and very big balcony overlooking a beautiful garden leading to the harbour. Planning on staying for one night ended up staying two nights. Great beginning for our holiday.

A great B&B in a beautiful location - the verandah attached to the bedrooms overlooks the wooded garden and river and is a great place to sit and sip a glass of wine, Kathy is a great hostess - she booked an evening meal for us, told us where to get supplies etc for our trip and best of all, drove us to the Falls so that we could walk about 90 minutes from there back down to the house along a magical footpath following the river. Great accommodation and good breakfast - consider staying more than one night!

Excellent location; near the town, but by a quiet park in a private garden. A wonderful hostess, Kathy, made us feel at home and shared a great breakfast and information about the area. Very comfortable, private room and shower. Truly a tremendous value for the money!
