We visited Margaret river in August 2019 and stayed for 3 nights in Acacia Chalets.
If I remember correctly, there are 3-4 chalets. The location is great is you want to live just off Margaret River. Early in morning you can spot kangaroos and birds near the lake.
I Guess peace and quiet is the theme in all the accommodations across this region and hence that’s a given.
The bed warmers were a nice addition as there was no other heating options available in the room.
With that said, There were only two cons - 1) were no slippers ( maybe we should have thought about it before hand) were provided and walking around in cold weather was not very comfortable. 2) wifi was really patching.
All in all, a great place to stay. Though, I would suggest that the owners provide a blender in the kitchen as well. Just my views.
We stayed in Chalet 3 which could house up to 6 pax comfortably. It had 3 rooms with built in wardrobes. One room comes with king size bed and has an attached bathroom + toilet. Two other rooms with 4 single beds in total, shares a common bathroom + toilet which is very spacious. There is only 1 heater/aircon unit in the living room. All the beds have heated padding - great for colder nites. Good size living room area with TV and sound system. The kitchen is very well equipped. There's a BBQ at the covered patio. The place is clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. From a location perspective, it's ~ 10mins drive to Margaret River town center which also has a large Woolsworth to get all your supplies.
We stayed 5 nights in chalet 2 at Acacia Chalets. The chalet consisted of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and large living/kitchen area with picture windows and sliding patio doors onto verandah. Spacious and bright. Our stay enhanced by the residence on the lawn of a kangaroo and her joey. Margaret River is approx 10 minutes drive away. The proprietor very helpful. When we were there WiFi virtually non existent and mobile signal poor notwithstanding my mobile roamed between 3 different providers.
Acacia Chalets are clean, very comfortable and the perfect location for all the things the Margaret River Region has to offer.
We were in the area to walk part of the Cape to Cape and Lauren, the owner, was kind enough to collect us from where we left our car and drop us at the starting point of our walk. Being three women, we chose to book into the 3 room chalet and enjoy the luxury of a room each, the bonus was finding it also had two bathrooms.
I have stayed in the 2 bedroom chalet with my family back in 2012 and was pleased to see that the chalets still feel very new and fresh. They are well equipped and tastefully decorated.
Being immersed in the bush and watching the kangaroos around the dam was lovely. This was a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing place to stay.
We spent 3 nights in this lovely chalet in a peaceful location near Margaret River.
Clean and spacious with all the amenities you would need. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We discovered the DVD player wasn't working on the first night and it was replace the very next day. The bed in the master bedroom was large and very comfortable.
We used the large BBQ that was outside on the veranda although it was a little chilly to sit outside and eat as we were visiting in April.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
