I booked here before lunch to stay on the bush camping area. I also had an accident and needed to go to hospital. I dumped my dog with some residents (bless that they were good dog people). While in hospital my daughter had to make arrangements for my dog, the park were bloody fantastic and helpful. Once out of hospital they helped me upgrade my booking to a room and packed up my camp. I am forever grateful for the owners of this park and am planning a return visit.
Off leash park was ideal for my dog. The pool looked great, unfortunately I didn't get to use it, was excited about the bush camping area but again didn't stay there, small cabin was perfect and they looked dog friendly, owners and staff 110%.
Will recommend to my friends to stay here
This was our first time visiting Alice Springs and we chose to camp at Heritage and glad we did. To start with the managers Brad & Hannah are very welcoming and friendly and on a few occasions spoke with Brad about places to visit, locations and road conditions, thanks so much. We stayed for 4 days on a nice grassed site in front of the Camp kitchen, a nice spot. They have heaps of room for any traveller with good, grassed area with powered sites through to the Bush camping out the back and they also have some rooms for your stay. Throw in a pool and an off lead area as well for your pooch, by the way there were a few Dogs about and your nearly set. Had no issues with the amenities all tidy & cleaned daily and after exploring the West Macs it was great at days end to have a nice hot shower. The Camp kitchen has heaps of room, tables, chairs, hot plate, microwave and as we saw gets used daily. Overall this was a great place to base yourself and explore and will easily call in again when I travel through next time.
Staff very friendly and helpful. No problems there.
This is a pet friendly park, consequently you'll find that the cabin smells of pets. The main bedroom does not have a window. Amenities antiquated. The second (?) bedroom is not a bedroom really, it's part open part private plan, consequently people wanting to go to the toilet will walk past the sleeping bodies.
Went to use the laundry. One drier was broken, one washing machine was broken. This during peak holidays. Consequently large line up.
We stayed here when we participated in Alice Springs Masters Games 2018, this is our second stay, we were here in 2014 also when we did Alice Springs Masters games. Both instances we have nothing to complain, We stayed over week in each instance. Very quiet place with all the facilities you need, very clean and also front office is polite and friendly, very helpful for us. 2016 Games we wanted to stay here but the park was booked out as we were late to book accommodation. Facilities are improved now compared 2014, we needed good night sleep before compete and also place where we can do bit of stretching and run before the games, Park has plenty of room for walk or run in the morning and to have a stretch. cooking facilities are there you can do your own cooking, we had cabins with small kitchen and toilet and also fridge and microwave and TV, toaster and kettle, all of these in near new conditions. Toilets and showers are very clean, we also had plenty of Tea and coffee left in the room for us, you hear birds singing when you wake up in the morning, which is awesome to listen to first thing in the morning when you wake up, plenty of trees in the park, There is a kids playground and also a pool. Very good place to stay if you are travelling with your family and also if you have pets, We will stay here again and when we do the games and also if we are travelling through Alice. I recommend book early if you are coming for Masters Games.
We stayed here out of necessity since our van needed repairing. They accommodated us in a relaxed and friendly way. Our family cabin was basic but spotlessly clean and roomy. Two separate bedrooms with all linen provided, a lounge & dining area with a great separate kitchen so we ended up cooking in every night rather than going out.
Wifi is free, laundry & other facilities are well maintained. Lots of dogs around since it's a pet-friendly venue but they only animals we ever heard were parrots singing to us in the morning. Very secure, lots of trees, quiet location, helpful staff.
