The hotel it's in an area where it's not advisable to go outside at night. Having said that, inside the Hotel we didn't have any problem.
The rooms were spacious, and had a good bathroom. Wifi was difficult to get in the room. The rooms were clean, but if you don't leave the key at the hotel, you won't get the room cleaned.
The food it was okay, but it took too much time in order to get it. The staff in the restaurant seemed that didn't understood us completely. The rest of the staff of the hotel was kind and very helpful.
The pool of the hotel was okay, specially with the temperatures there.
The hotel is spacious and very peaceful.
The staff need more training with hospitality industry.
The rooms need to avoid that odour of pungent headache giving refreshner.
The consideration of this hotel is for Indians since it has a bucket and mug in the bathroom for shower but misses the other toiletries.
For the stabdard , I think decent shower gel and shampoo is a must.
Stayed in the ground floor room and took me over the middle of the night of open backside window to get that smell to the minimum level.
The var area is cool. The food is awesome. The hotel and the service of the boys working in the hotel needs improvement.
Overall it was the nice
I suspect that this hotel was really good when it opened many years ago but unfortunately in the apparent absence of any repair and maintenance it has slid down hill.
Viewed from the outside it's unkempt and not in good order. The illuminated sign on the road is half missing and from the back it had all the charm of a set for the Walking Dead.
Inside, reception is cavernous and devoid of any atmosphere. Rooms are old and shabby with ancient and battered woodwork. The shower curtain in my room was black with mould along the bottom and there were some alarmingly bare wires protruding from the bathroom wall.
If there were any other guests other than my colleague and me we never saw any sign of them. All in all it was like appearing in an episode of Scooby Doo!! Mercifully we never saw the caretaker!!
Existing reports on here about the hotel are dubious to say the least. I don't think I would ever in any sane moment contemplate bringing my wife here for a honeymoon. If I did, she'd divorce me. And some of the very early comments have a suspicious similarity of construction and message about them. But if that's what gets a score of 4/5...... 1 or 2 is more realistic.
Would I stay here again? Not if I could avoid it
On the way back from Biratnagar, my wife and I wanted to halt for night in Bharatpur, so a friend of mine recommended me the Central Palms, so we checked in at the hotel. Surely, the hotel had amenities we were looking- a nice room, restaurant serving good food, and of course to beat the heat- swimming pool. The staff took good care of us and this surely made our stay really problem free. We were happy to find a pool at the hotel just what we wanted. Rooms were tidy and we loved the room we stayed in, a nice, comfortable bed was there to even make the stay worthwhile. Surely, one would not regret staying in this hotel if anyone ever has to halt for a night or two in Bharatpur, Chitwan. It's a recommended place to stay.
Very peaceful. The food was very yummy. The restaurant by the big garden is beautiful. The hospitality is very warm and friendly. I love it. And the room is good. Thank you Central palms for the stay. I had a lovely time. My family loved it. It is one of the best hotel in chitwan.
