Write a reviewWe were three couples traveling a week in Ireland and a week in Scotland. I think this was our favorite place we stayed during our whole trip.
The rooms and bathrooms were very nice. The living room space that we visited in was inviting.
The breakfast was wonderful too.
Very friendly and helpful owner.

We only stayed one night in Kenmare but am happy we chose the Avelow House. The hosts were very nice and the breakfast was the best we had anywhere in Ireland, and that is definitely saying something! The room was spotless. They let us keep our car there after checking out for the day so we could tour the town before leaving. Thank you for a lovely stay!

My son and I finished our Kerry Way hike in Kenmare after hiking from Sneem. I think that's about 20 miles. So we were tired. What a great surprise to end our trip to stay at the Avelow House. It's very beautifully renovated inside. The room we had was very comfortable, especially the beds. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The full Irish Breakfast in the morning was wonderful, and of course, filling. When I am in Kenmare next, I will definately stay at the Avelow House.

We got a little lost in town and a nice woman let us use her phone to call - Melanie gave us directions and Patrick greeted use when we arrived. A beautiful home, comfortable room, and the best shower in Ireland! Parking was easy and we could walk into town without any worries. Breakfast was delicious and got us through until dinner.

Stayed here while working locally, really friendly and very clean and modern feel. Parking, WiFi, en suite and everything you’d expect to have was there, breakfast was lovely and I would stay here again.
