Just returned from a five night stay. We found the staff to be really welcoming and friendly. This family owned hotel was spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable and room was a good size. Lovely balcony with great views. Breakfast was more than adequate for the price we paid. I would recommend for a comfortable, no frills, friendly hotel in beautiful Morzine.
Awful customer service and being tired is not an excuse.
My husband and I were waiting for the lift when the staff member came out. We entered the lift and she also re-entered. As I went to press the floor number she slapped my hand away and shouted at me in French.
Refused to serve our friend at the bar who came to join us in reception.
Made rude comments in french when trying to pay by card (my sister-in-law is fluent french so understood every word)
Shouted at my sister-in-law when her room key didn't work.
Such a shame as the hotel itself is lovely and was ruined by one rude staff member. (Older lady, bobbed hair and glasses)
Damn right rude.
We mainly booked this for use of the steam room, sauna & jacuzzi but I was so disappointed to find out only after we had booked that you can only use the facilities for just over 2 hours a day (between 5.15pm - 7.30pm)! Also, the Jacuzzi was cold and very dirty and the steam room had a strange smell to it.
The receptionists were rude and very bad at their job, taking 25mins just to find out what the price of their standar double room was!
They only provide robes & flip flops for an additional charge which should just be included rather than having to walk through the whole hotel in just a towel to avoid given them any more money they don't deserve.
Over priced for the standard of hotel.
We stayed here at the height of summer for 3 nights in a double room which was very small. Fine for us but I wouldn’t have liked to fit in it with winter gear. Breakfast was ok and the pool nice on a hot day. However, the overall impression was of a rather dated hotel: the ‘automatic’ lights on the stairwell took some time to come on (hazardous) and in our room, there was no bathroom fan. In fact, the bathroom door would not close unless heartily slammed - irritating to us but probably much more so to people in neighbouring rooms.
This three star hotel is conveniently situated near to ski shops and bus stops. The rooms are clean and have ensuite bathrooms.
The dining room is functional. The dinner we had was good. Coffee afterwards is from a machine in reception.
Breakfast was served in a lower ground floor room and was spoilt by a distinct smell of drains!
The staff were friendly and helpful.
