This hotel was quite a bit more expensive that the average, but was definitely worth the extra. The building was an old converted residence on multiple levels. It seemed that every room had a sea view. The gardens were lovely. The pool was a great temperature and the hot tub in the grotto was stunning. There is no secure bike parking, but the car parks are secure. We had a balcony which was fine to leave them on. Some rooms have terraces though. Breakfast was amazing. I suspect that we could be back!
Imagine a noble villa just above a blue sea
Imagine you are received by the kindest team of italian people speaking english and French
Imagine diners outdoor and delicious typical food
Imagine a warm pool with a crazy view
That’s here. Its reality in this hotel and its not even expensive.
We recently spent 3 nights at Punta Est and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room had a balcony looking out over the sea and was very comfortable. We had dinner there one night and walked into town to local restaurants the other 2. The grotto jacuzzi and ice spa were delightful. It was easy to walk to the beach and rent chairs. The pool area was lovely. The staff were all very accommodating and helpful.
We had to call to get directions to the entrance as our gps failed us. Someone met us at the entrance on the main road and accompanied us up a back road to a parking lot — we would never have found it on our own. Apparently there are only 6 or so spaces at the entrance near the road and all the rest go up the back road to a lot on the hotel property.
A charming family owned hotel, situated in a cliff top location, with comfortable rooms, fantastic food and very client friendly staff. We will certainly return as truly Italian without the pretensions of their Gallic neighbours but close enough to use the frequent flights to/from Nice. We avoided the buffet as wanted to eat what we wanted rather than that which was offered. Enjoyed the slightly tired pool area rather than the beach as wanted a quieter location.
A wonderful old hotel built into the side of a cliff with sea views. The multi levels included gardens,billiard/game room, a cave with a hot tub, swimming pool on the roof top and sky deck as well as restaurants and bar. The perfect place to relax and enjoy all the amenities of the Italian Riviera.
We had several delightful meals here as well as daily breakfast. The food was excellent. The service was outstanding and gracious. Drink selections from wine to cocktails was very good and enjoyed by all.
Our room was on the small side but well appointed and the adjoining patio made it perfect. The views were fantastic and we enjoyed it all hours of the day and evening.
