All the rooms I believe are suites, the rooms as fabulous, with a huge bed and spa bathroom, sadly ours overlooked the car park at the back of the hotel. The car park/ garage will cost you €20 a night, plenty of places to park free on the road. The staff in the restaurant are great, it’s not a cheap place to eat and drink but well executed. The only negative we had was the heated pool was so icy cold no one could get in it. There is a spa pool but that will cost you €20 each , but you do get a free drink. Who thinks these rules up, so no one got in the pool the whole time we stayed. (So May as well not have a pool)
As other reviewers has said the staff is extraordinary and nothing is too much trouble to them. Mainly staff speaks understandable English. Breakfast was a la carte with lot of options. Don't hesitate to ask if you want to modify some dishes.
Pool area was small but enough for the size of hotel. Unfortunately there were no parasols but three sun lounges but if you use them you need to buy some beverages. I already paid over 300 euros per night so I think that is exploitation. Room 101 was good size and quite. Housekeeping could be better - especially with jacuzzis. Our inside jacuzzi was very dirty and they hadn't change the water between customers. Beach was sandy but it was very crowded with families.
While leaving we noticed that second AC was leaking and some of our belongings were damaged. Hotel hallways are too dark, you need really watch your steps.
If you want to eat and spent time also outside the hotel area you should consider renting a car. There area very few taxis in the area. Bus is going without exact schedule every 30 minutes to Split (17 kunas) and Omis (11 kunas).
Overall good stay but way too overpriced hotel to spend time. Croatia should not have same price level as Finland...
We stayed here with friends for 2 night recently. It’s cute hotel, with great bar area. It is extremely well located, being online 100 meters away from the sand beach and sea. The room we had was a good size and was well equipped with huge bed, plenty of wardrobe place etc...
It was scrupulously cleaned every day.
Staff is very friendly, pleasant and helpful all the time.
I recommend Damianii to anyone who visit Omiš.
Just returned from a four night stay
Extraordinary staff. Nothing is too much trouble. A shout out to Antoneta - cheerful, friendly and makes the best Mojito ever! Also to Josipa and Katarina on reception - incredibly helpful, provided great recommendations for restaurants in Omis (Cocopazzo and Bastion) and allowed a late checkout
Breakfast - delicious with great choices
Pool area - small but attractive
Room - a good sized rear-facing junior suite with comfortable bed, quiet and spotless
Hotel size - only 12 rooms, so 'boutique'
Beach - unusually sandy for Croatia and pleasant enough. Good 'button' service for food and drinks
Expensive - including restaurant food. Almost always empty in the evening.
Rooms - personal taste decor, but annoying sliding doors to the bathroom that doubled as closet doors. Temperamental AC. Rear view is a cloth backdrop, garage and neighbouring apartments. Hallways are very dark. Light over the bathroom sink didn't work, and was not fixed
Spa - underwhelming and disappointing massage, particularly considering price
Location - Far from Split, and a hike to Omis. Can take buses to both.Taxis are difficult to find and expensive. Many excursions start in Split
Beach - small, busy and accessed via the congested road. The covered beds require an almost 50 pound spend/day on drinks and food
Loved the staff, but came away disappointed in terms of value for money. The description 'luxury hotel and spa' in my view, is a slight stretch
A small hotel with 12 bedrooms, restaurant, spa facilities and pool. The hotel is wedged in between residential apartment blocks. ( see photo). Deluxe Room is spacious with balcony, but not all the furniture on the balcony as on the photos and no shade. The large spa bath in the bathroom takes hours to heat up, and the AC had no instructions and was extremely complicated to operate. Beach area - can only be reached after crossing a busy road- is not furnished according to the photos on the website. ( see photo) The noise from the road mars the enjoyment of sitting in the attractive pool area. Overall design a bit ‘over the top’ but that is a matter of personal taste. In a boutique hotel it would be nice to have a (Nespresso style) coffee machine in the room and not just instant coffee.
But... very friendly staff, clean and comfortable!
A car is a must as at least 25 min away from Split. Nearby Omis is nice and has a number of restaurants.
