While it's true this motel probably dates back to the 50s, it's well maintained and clean. Our first floor room had two doors (one to hallway and one to the pool area/patio), which was nice. The place may be dated, but it's charming and tidy. I would recommend this motel to people on a budget in the summer months.

We did a last minute search for hotels on a very busy weekend and, without spending over $500 a night, this was the only establishment that came up in a booking site's search, at $200 (it should have alerted me). Driving up and getting the key at the front desk foretold that it was an older establishment, which, can be OK, but keeps our expectations low. At the room, the door looked a little beaten and hollow (not good for a motel).
Entering the room, we were greeted with tile floors, beds with plastic sheets underneath, rusty drains, faucets that turned up to turn on, almost fell off the sink and, here is the kicker: curly-cues in the bathtub (remember - only place available), At the other end of the room, was another beaten door, this one facing out toward the pool area (with a closed pool). On the plus side, at least we had cable TV, wifi and the place was fairly quiet.

This is a good budget hotel. For the location, the price is pretty good but not exceptional. You've got to expect prices to be higher anywhere on eastern Long Island. The room was good, the wifi was good. The breakfast was poor, only coffee. There is a Macdonald's nearby. There is a refrigerator and microwave. With a decent breakfast I would have given four stars.

We rented a room here for my son and paid BY THE DAY, WITH NO BRAKE IN PRICE, for four months. We were not happy with that but took the room anyhow. This past week, he had to go pick up some parts for a job out-of-state, while we were still paying for the room, and when he got back and went in with his key, the room was EMPTY. Everything he owned. They said we thought you checked out!!!! YHEY THOUGHT HE CHECKED OUT???? If they believed he checked out, why didn’t they call us and ask??? They did every other month before they ran the credit card. Then told him they threw everything that was in the room out!!!! All of his clothes, his tools, etc....???? Someone has a lot of explaining to do. When I called asking for my son’s things, they said they would give us back the money they charged us for the past few days. HOW FING NICE OF THEM. THIS UNDERHANDED MANAGEMENT BETTER COME UP WITH MY SON’S PROPERTY - ALL OF IT.

Spent one night here with friends. We were here for a golf tournament and needed to crash for about 8 hours. This hotel was conveniently located to the course and about half the price of other local hotels since it was high season.

Pool looked nice. Room was very dated but clean. Bathroom door did not close. AC was just ok. Beds were saggy. We left too early in the AM for breakfast so not sure what was offered.
