If you like care-free holidays without the hustle and bustle of mega all-inclusive hotels, this is the place for you. The beachfront apartments are exactly as described on the website. Simple kitchenette with a bathroom (shower) and a large bedroom (double or twin) with a flat screen TV (slightly on the small side, but hey - I never watched a minute of it!) and air conditioning. The windows are all fitted with mosquito nets so it's wonderful: you can sleep with them open and not be bothered by insects. There is a small balcony with table and chairs where you can eat your meals if you are not going to the restaurant across on the beachfront. Incidentally this is where breakfast is served every morning (simple breakfast, nothing fancy: toast, butter, jam, honey, yogurt, some fruit, fruit juice and coffee). The room was clean and it had lots of closet space. The best thing about it of course is being a stone's throw away from one of the prettiest beaches on the island. You'll likely not move from here! It's around 30 minutes' drive from the airport. I would have given the place 5 out of 5 if it weren't for the hard mattresses, which were a disappointment. All the rest was absolutely fabulous. A special thank-you to Julia who made our stay even better. I felt very welcome by all the staff!
Klima Paradise is situated away from the big tourist villages in Samos, which is to its great advantage. It is quiet, the water is crystal clear and the people are friendly.
Our room was, like all rooms at Klima, facing the sea - and what a view! The room was basic and very clean. But you don't need a fancy room at this kind of wonderful location!
The staff was very friendly and you will feel welcome from the second you step onto the porch and they greet you.
Our only concern was that the breakfast was a bit too unvaried if one is staying for a longer time. However, you will have your own kitchenette in your apartment and you are free to eat whatever you like for breakfast. Still, we would have appreciated a little more variation of the breakfast in the morning.
Also, we were not very impressed by the restaurant. The service is great, but the food was unfortunately mediocre.
However, we would definitely stay there again and Samos is a beautiful island with small treasures around every corner.
We had the chance to stay at the house next to the sea, Villa Maria. Perfect location, perfect sea, private veranda. It was like a boat trip vacation, just wake up from the bed, take a few steps and jump into the sea. Very cozy decorated two bedrooms provide place for four people or a one family with two children. A fully equiped kitchen and bathroom provides everything what you need. We had rent a car therefore we had no problems to make our shopping. The nearest market is in Posidonio, a 1.4km walk from Klima. You can walk but I would suggest rent a car or make a list and give it to Stratos, the manager in charge, the man who controls everything :), he would be ready to provide everything in one day. It's a stone beach, the water is perfect clean, you reach 1.5m level in appr 5-6m from the beach. The stuff is very very helpfull and provides everything you need. Enjoy the good seafood at the taverna. It was a very nice vacation and for sure we will enjoy it again.
Ruth and Michael are the perfect hosts, very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. This is a small quiet bay with nothing but the sea, beach and Taverna where Michael cooks delicious food served one step away from the beach. Our apartment had everything that we required including things like washing up liquid and hand soap which many S/C units do not usually provide but are very useful. The room was clean and in good condition with a lovely balcony with sunshade, overlooking the ocean. What more could you want? We wanted nothing more, this suited us perfectly and we didn't really want to leave. Will definitely visit again. Many thanks to Ruth and Michael from Maz and John.
We stayed for a week at the end of the season (October) and enjoyed every minute of it. The room met all our needs including a kitchenette, although we ended up sharing dinner most nights with Michael and Ruth including a killer rabbit stew for a birthday celebration. Renting a car is a must to explore the island. The swimming is good but we wouldn't bother to bring the snorkels next time as there's not much to see. The real charm of Klima Paradise is the warm hospitality and beautiful setting.
