In a word, charming. A lovely location just up from the promenade giving stunning beach views from the terrace.

Yes, it’s a bit dated. Yes, the rooms are close together so if your neighbours are noisy, so is your room... But that doesn’t take away from the charm of this place.

It’s impeccably clean and the service was brilliant. We were a big party (20) staying here but we were all made to feel so welcome. The guest house is full of little details that make you feel at home - coffee and tea you can replenish yourself if you run out, a dvd collection and a bookshelf full of books to borrow... just lovely little touches. Special shoutout to the breakfast too - we were all saying how good it was!

Thankyou Maria & Tony for making our stay so comfortable.

My wife and I recently stayed here on a short break. We stayed in Room 2 which was of a good size on the 1st floor with a full size bay window. The bed was comfortable and the room was nicely furnished. It had a great view of the bay and promenade. Nice bathroom accessories were provided. The only downer was that the handle fitting on the bathroom door was broken and so always swung open unless the small bolt on the door was used. Breakfast was excellent with a full range including fresh strawberries and fruit. Staff are friendly and attentive. There is a small car park to the rear which is a bonus as parking restrictions apply on the road in front of the premises. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to visitors.

Not a bad place to stay . Room very clean . Staff very helpful . Breakfast was nice & hot .I knocked off a star for a couple of reasons 'we stayed in room 2 and at 5 am the sun was too bright and lit the room up ( need black out curtains) and toilet floor boards need sorting as it creaks bad . Apart from that it's a nice place

Cannot praise this lovely guest house enough!! Not only did they come to our rescue thanks to Booking.com completely messing our original reservation up at a different hotel, but they also made sure our little weekend away was perfect!

There were 7 of us in the party, 4 adults and 3 children. We had a family room and 2 twins. The rooms were lovely, very clean and spacious and we all loved the compliment care package which ranged from shampoo to a shower cap. The rooms were all en-suite with showers and the family room had a sea view.

We were also advised to help ourselves to additional tea, coffee, milk and biscuits that were readily available at reception at no extra cost.

Breakfast was fabulous, staff lovely and polite and the menus had multiple options and choices. Fresh coffee on tap as well as much tea and toast as you could consume.

Our orders consisted of pancakes to poached eggs, and there was cereal and pastries available to all as well. The portions were big and will certainly set you up for the day!!

One of our party realised on the way home they had left some jewellery and was panicking about it being lost. The lovely owner was waiting at the front door with the jewellery and made sure nothing else had been left.

Although this wasn’t our original hotel that we had planned to stay in, we are SO GLAD we did. The staff and the owner should be very proud of themselves because it is a fabulous place to stay!

We will be back!!

Your response is very kind. We would like to think that others would help out in the same way that we did. We were glad to help out and we are pleased that you had a great weekend despite a 'rocky' start. We were pleased to help.!!!

just returned from 2 night stay.very clean and well presented.bedroom excellent with tea, coffe filled daily, towels changed as required.staff very helpful at breakfast.breakfast selection like you never seen, best ever.would defo return and recommend to all.good beach area and super playground for kids.not a lot of adult activity but buses running every few minutes to Llandudno or rhyl/colwyn bay so not a problem there.5stars from us.just to add we stayed in the annexe room (the dog room),which looked out onto the car park but we never had any inkling dogs had been in the room,it was very clean and fine for us.just read some bad reviews and would take them with a pinch of salt.Ian & Lynn Brice

Thank you for your very positive comments. So pleased that you enjoyed the staff's attention. We think they do a terrific job. If you come again then perhaps you can stay longer and try other parts of our breakfast selection. Many of our guests take advantage of the beach just outside the front door. To be honest, most guests with dogs really help to keep the room as clean as possible and we rarely have 'dog smells' in that room. Of course the dogs are not allowed anywhere else in the guest house in case of those with allergies to animals. Again, our thanks - Diolch yn fawr.
