Sleepless night due to large hole in duvet cover and the room being very hot!
The duvet was changed the next day but still too hot!
The restaurant bar area is very disappointing and not somewhere you would want to have pre-dinner drinks! Very dirty-crisps and "sauce" all over carpet -dirty tables and -to top it all-I rested my arm on the table and a lump of chewing gum stuck to my arm
Really gone downhill-such a shame
I thought life had moved on from coffee out of a thermos flask for breakfast. Needs a coffee machine.
Staff were absolutely lovely but they were definitely understaffed with the hotel full (there was a large swim competition happening the weekend that we stayed).
room was typical of a P.I. - No complaints.
Annoying that you can't really decrease the temp of your room, I was overheated on a mild night with a very warm duvet on the bed.
we arrived late afternoon on a friday and the restaurant was heaving (locals use it as a pub) so no chance of a quick /easy evening meal without having to wait until after 8.30pm. We ate out, but would rather have stayed in the hotel.
Pokey room on the ground floor, car park quite away from the entrance, car parking spaces very tight with lots of broken glass about from broken car windows !!. Pub next door was like going into an housing estate pub !! lots of fag ends littering the entrance !! Was somewhere to put our heads down after a family party but would not rush back there to stay if I was honest
Arrived for one night. Friendly efficient receptionist. Nice room. Good food at beefeater next door.No problems at all. Room appeared to have been recently refurbished.Good bathroom, clean room overall.
Friendly staff, clean, quiet room and plenty of parking even while building works were going on.
The room was a lot smaller than others I've stayed in at other Premier Inn's, but it was perfectly clean, tidy and comfortable!
All in all, a perfect base for my visit.
