Usually we book most of our hols flights & accomodation separately but booked Mayfair gardens in, Paphos, Cyprus, a week before we travelled with Jet 2 as a package, couldn't fault the price, we felt it was really good for half board, the flight with individual seat screens and entertainment was a winner, transfer was quick and easy, we arrived just in time in the evening to enjoy the excellent large variation of food for out evening dinner, the staff and restaurant duty manager were pleasant, attentive, courteous and all with a smile which made a change from some hotels we have visited, staff on reception were helpful when approached with any questions on the area or transport etc, the room we was allocated was refurbished in 2015 & is due to be done again in 2020 and is looking a little tired, two single beds were coupled together and a huge super-duper king-size mattress placed on top, very comfortable, lovely balcony overlooking the main pool, another newby from Jet2 is the checking in your hold cases at your hotel so you go straight to security at airport & don't see your luggage until your destination airport, great idea but only IF you don't need to put things in, as we did, just before leaving hotel. The hotel is around 15mins walk to Paphos harbour where lots of locals & tourist head for to enjoy the sunset, suprised to find prices for food/drink is very reasonable especially just a street away from the harbour, Although there are snags on some hols we thoroughly enjoyed it and already planning our next trip there.

Mayfair gardens hotel situated between paphos town and the harbour. 15 min walk to the harbour. Rooms are fairly spacious, with fridge and private balcony. We had rm 357 overlooking the pool, at the end of the corridor so no noise from others. The room was clean, towels changed every 2 days, bedding once. Bathroom needed a deep clean but otherwise satisfactory. Bed and pillows comfy. Great selection of food, refreshed frequently. Restaurant manager and assistants particularly friendly and helpful. Reception staff helpful. Pools were very clean and staff always tidying the outside areas. I would certainly stay again.

Stayed with my family in this hotel. We were all inclusive. Room was very spacious and lovely, beds super comfortable, nice balcony, we had a pool view. Food in the restaurant was great, nice choice and not repetitive, every day something different. Staff in restaurant was amazing, couple of ladies from Philippines especially, very friendly, smiley and helpful.
Pool was a little cold so I didn't swim there, instead went to the beach :)
Location is good, easy walk away from shops, harbour, old town, beach and buses.

Jet2 are a great company and will bend over backwards to help you, we have used them several times but as with all very helpful companies the faults start showing after a while as they try to lure you in and cut costs, this hotel is rated 4 star in the jet2 brochure 3 star plus online but upon booking in hotel is only 3 star and it really does matter when spending your hard earned money. I travelled with my family upon booking in told they did not have the accessible room we had reserved with jet2 and in fact did not have rooms with walk in showers, after persistence shown room which was not suitable with bath only, then suddenly given room with walk in shower after more complaining.room was great right beside pool, with walk in shower but that comes with a price constant noise to midnight.3 adequate pools but DO NOT expect to be by them unless you get up at 5am or in some cases midnight how do we know well we had the pool side room, watched people putting towels on sun loungers all night long, now we do not stay up 24 hours a day but drunk guests are not quiet when dragging around the loungers and placing there delicate towels on them, after four days of no sun lounger went to reception to be told that the no towel rule had been relaxed and it was survival of the fittest, next day at 7am all towels were taken off sun loungers that lasted just for that day only , so out of 7 days we had chance once to lay down in sun.bar staff are hard working but are told to say pump beer is keo brand which it is not, it’s kappa or neon.
Cooked Food was fresh but bread awful and was at best defrosted,if you like cream of soup you are in for a treat served 12 times in seven days , every soup same colour just added a different ingredient. Food regurgitated daily by third day found it hard to eat, very odd items served at breakfast ,mashed potatoes and boiled cabbage and fried onions but then realised it was served night before.staff in restaurant were great, but we had to que on some meal times up to 30 minutes to get a table as hotel restaurant was not big enough, this was the same at night time outside for entertainment not enough chairs or tables.overall paid for 4 star and barely got 3 star, would definitely not stay there again.

We loved this hotel. The pools were great and there were plenty of sun loungers available. Our room was clean and decent and the cleaners did a good job. The food was very nice with a good variety for all. We will return.
