Lovely location with views over the sea. We travelled with pets and were for that reason not able to stay in one of the premium rooms that have been renovated recently. Our room was large and clean, although a bit tired; however the shower could have done with a better clean. The room was located a short walk from the main building where the restaurant and reception were, but that was not an issue for us. In the same building as the room there was a lounge with fridge, coffee machine and cold water dispenser; all available for guests, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was basic, but sufficient. An evening meal was included, only one option (on our night salmon with new potatoes) but it was absolutely delicious and made the stay really good value for money.
Has a feeling of an institution not like a hotel. Evening meal provided was basic, one meat dish and one type of salad offered. Beer available, but very expensive price. Room not in a main building, parking space not near the room. The room was large but dated. Beds clean and comfortable. For the price charged, we will not be staying here again.
This is not the classical hotel in sens of hotel but on the other hand not so uncommon for Sweden.
Located in the country side (so need a car to get somewhere), this place is a mix of school (Folkhögskolan) and next to it a conference and sleeping accommodation.
My room was located in a separate building than where the reception is and breakfast is served. "My" building disposed of two kitchens with fridge, micro wave and cutlery which felt a bit unusual and threw me 10 years back in time when I was a student myself. However very pratical if you wanted to cook sth or keep sth in the fridge. I think it's allowed, I however did it and my food didn't disappear (I stayed 2 nights).
I would have asked if I had seen anyone but didn't except on last day for check out. the reception closes at 5pm which is very early. Checkout is also early (10am) but on request I got an extra hour.
My room was quite small and basic as the bathroom (not a lot of ustensiles except soap). Don't expect to much and was a bit disappointed to see the used and broken bed overlay (see picture). Doesn't really give a good impression...
Sundsgarden Conference Center is located outside of the Helsingborg city in a quiet farming area close to the coast. It normally contains a music school and an arts school. It also offers space for conferences.
The surroundings are relatively attractive but not special at all. There are nice walking areas next to the coast, beaches, etc. It is a very quiet area.
The rooms are relatively small, no air conditioning or ventilation. Windows could be opened but lack a mosquito screen.
The bathroom is functional but very basic. No bath but a shower with a curtain around.
A flat screen tv is present in the room. Also free wifi is available.
The "hotel" building itself is complex with many corridors.
Breakfast is ok. Dinner was not served. Restaurants were not available within walking distance.
Reception and other staffs was very friendly.
