The price/quality ratio is optimal and all the staff are very king. Single rooms are small but extremelly clean nicely decorated and with comfortable beds. Good breakfast in the roof terrace. Perfect location.
Just be aware that there is no elevator though the staff will gladly take your luggage to your room.
The rooms as the whole hotel is clean and tidy. Comfortable bed, flat tv, safe box. The staff was polite and very helpfull. The waitress staff on the rooftop restaurant was very friendly. The breakfast is buffet with basic food but you can choose from their menu to order fried eggs, bacon, scrabble eggs, omelette, etc. Love the scrabble eggs with feta! It was so delicious! The best is hotel location. You can walk from there all over the city. Monastiraki and Psyrris squares are a few minutes distance from there. However, you can also take the metro which is very close if you want to and get in mind that one of the Metro entries is on Athinas street. The only negative is that the hotel has only stairs and not elevator and if you cannot walk stairs you can't stay here, have in mind that the breakfast areas is on 4rth floor. Off course the hotel staff help every time with bags to/from your room.
Good value. Excellent location - near attractions, restaurants, bars, and night life but quite in the room. Very very friendly service. Staff really do everything to make your stay pleasant. Room is small but clean and functional. Modern clean shower with good pressure.
Only drawback is that you need to climb narrow stairs to your room. Staff helps with luggage, but this place is not for people who have difficulty climbing.
The major plus to this hotel is that all of the staff are absolutely lovely. It's in an old building and they're gradually renovating and clearly investing a lot of money.
On the down side, because the renovation isn't complete, there is no elevator. Bearing in mind that breakfast is on the fourth floor, I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone with mobility issues. The staff will carry your bags upstairs though.
Another annoyance for me is that my tiny (less than 2 by 3 metres) single room had no window. This was not advertised when booking which I feel is dishonest. However the room was spotlessly clean with a shiny new shower room. A shame it was physically impossible to close the shower door when inside it though! Unless you're very, very slim.
Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was nice.
Overall this is a very good value, clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. I'm sure that if you book a double room it will be great. They are working on installing an elevator and also a restaurant for dinner.
One last thing, it's next to the central market which is a perfect location for walking to all the tourist sites, but is deserted at night, so you might not feel comfortable if a nervous traveller. However, speaking as a reasonably confident solo female, I did not feel unsafe.
My friend and I stayed in a room with two twin beds and the room was almost separated into two parts. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean and nice. The whole hotel had just been very recently renovated. The cleaning staff was wonderful and so was the reception staff. The waitress staff was even better! The breakfast is served on the rooftop Terrace and is served by waitstaff. You get to choose from six different items for breakfast everyday plus fresh squeezed orange juice and I got a daily moccachino. It was so delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It is also in a wonderful location. We walked from there all over the city. However, you can also take the metro which is very close if you want to. My only caveat is that this is not the place to stay if you cannot walk stairs. It is for floors with no elevator. The receptionist app is great though and they will help you with your bags to take them to your room and to bring them down from your room to the entrance. I would definitely stay here again!
