My husband and I and two friends stayed here at the beginning of September. Our hosts, Alessandra and Salvatore were waiting at the airport to transport us to the hotel.
The exterior of the building is quite deceptive as it doesn’t look like a hotel at all. Once the lift took us to the 6th floor a door opened to reveal a lovely little boutique reception area.
The bedrooms are spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The weather was good so breakfast was served on the roof terrace with panoramic views over Palermo.
We can thoroughly recommend La Terrazza su Palermo.
We stayed here for a week while exploring Sicily and we were very pleased with this B&B. Very clean bedrooms, as well as the kitchen area. The rooms were big and comfortable with modern showers. The host was very friendly and made us a breakfast every morning. We had a great view from our bedroom and the Terrazza gives a nice overview over the city. The only things where I think is space for improvement is to tone it down a bit with the air freshener and maybe to get a bit more variety in the breakfast. Other than that no negatives, I would recommend this, and especially for that price.
We arrived back in Palermo to find our original B and B choice had been overbooked.
However the owner helpfully arranged for us to stay at La Terrazza instead (I think he was friends with the owner)
We ended up on the 7th floor of an apartment building in a cute little room complete with huge roof top terrace!
The room was clean and perfectly adequate although it had quite a low roof and small windows which made a little cell like.
The breakfast was plentiful and the owner very charming.
It is located a little off the main Via Roma and is quite a walk to the main railway station (about 25 minutes)
However it was a pleasant substitute and the views from the rooftop terrace were fantastic so an added, unexpected bonus for 70 euros for a night.
