We had a twin room that consisted of a large bed and a sofa bed. This worked well for us as it felt like two bedrooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the private balcony. The location is wonderful as it is a short walk to town and picturesque as it is opposite the river, church and the bridge. The breakfast and dinners were very good. The staff were good as well. We plan to return here next year for the Passion Play.

The hotel is clean inviting and comfortable. Our room was like a small apartment giving plenty of space inside and a small outside balcony to view the mountains. There was a safe, tv, wifi and free parking. The breakfast each morning was plentiful. The hotel has a large outdoor balcony set up with outdoor furniture to sit and relax with a drink or food with a wonderful view to enjoy. A family type fun room inside offers a pool table and games. A wellness centre for massage, sauna etc onsite. Staff were all very nice. Location to walk into the centre is just 10 minutes can recommend this hotel for a stay.

Although the hotel is on good location, in the center of the town and close to the mountains with a nice view, there are more things that are not good about this hotel. First thing, the rooms are not clean. Yes they come to clean everyday with vacuum but I saw a lot of dust on the bed and as I could see the dust was there maybe 2 weeks and more because there was a lot. Second thing is that they say there is parking and yes there is, but not enough for all the guests. We couldn’t find place to park a lot of times so we had to park across of the bridge or on street. Third thing is the breakfast. There are reservations on all tables for breakfast and even if all tables are free you can’t sit. We went on breakfast very early at 7 and there was no one so we sat on one table and they came and made us to stand because there is reservation. If you go on breakfast later at 9:30 (and the breakfast finish at 10) there is not food left from everything. There was no juice and vegetables left. Forth thing what happened to me was while I was sleeping. My bf was out it was around 10:30, I woke up because of the noise that I heard and went on toilet, the next thing I know someone enter in my room and went. I thought that it was the girls that clean, but I heard steps on the terrace and I saw guy watering the flowers on the terrace. So I run off because I was sleeping in bra and panties and I got scared because he was the one that entered in the room and after walking on the terrace. I understand that they have to water that flowers but they can make some schedule when they do so the guests can know and expect if someone has to enter in the room. And the last thing maybe is not so much about the hotel, but they should make some rules there. The point is that there are people sitting out very early at 7:30 and screaming and laughing or at night at 22:00 so you can’t sleep or rest or even have calm morning or night because of the noise.

Backing on to the Mountains, surrounded by greenery and overlooking the river. This Hotel offers a variety of room options at a very reasonable price and one of the best breakfasts full of fresh baked goods and real eggs. This quiet location has a wonderful pool and Spa and is walking distance to town, but far enough away from busy roads to be quiet. It is a long walk from the train station, but doable.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and a
great location. However, the internet is terrible. Have to keep logging in, my laptop firewall keeps it blocked. Ah well, first world problems I guess. The rooms are nice and we got a room with a balcony. More like a suite with entranceway, living room bedroom and a bathroom. Pet friendly for a small fee per day and restaurant has a separate dining area if you are eating with your pet. Overall, a good choice.
