Just got back from a week-long stay at Justin de Provence with my best friend. We very much appreciated the type of ‘accueil’ Eitan, Stéphane & Gérard presented. Interested, warm and sincere. But the stay is all about offering us the peace and quiet of this amazing location. La douce France definitely reawakened our spirits. We visited a lot of the surrounding cities such as Avignon, Uzès or Marseille. But Orange itself is quite charming as well. Next time (already nostalgic!) we plan on enjoying the surroundings of the B&B a bit more: an inviting pool area, the hammam and a dreamy garden of full of olive trees. The patisserie made by modestly but almost professional Eitan was especially very tasty for breakfast. We also enjoyed the local produce such as yoghurt, honey or cheese. A la prochaine! Elodie & Jaimie-Lou
Early days of business for Stephen who bought the property in January and opened 1st April 2019. Most elegant room, with charming furniture and first class comfortable bed. We were made to feel welcome after an exhausting drive. The swimming pool was a great surprise for a morning dip. Peaceful countryside surroundings on a beautiful early summer morning making a lovely stop over before returning to the motorway.
After receiving warm recommendations about Justin de Provence, my wife and I had a wonderful stay there for 2 nights during our recent trip to the south of France. What makes this place truly special is that it succeeds in transporting you, as if in a time tunnel, around a 100 years back, to a time where things were simpler and had much, much more character. It’s a tastefully renovated farmhouse estate, with a relaxing country ambience and amazing indoor decor, perfect for whoever wants a real change of pace and scenery. The top attractions of Provence (Avignon, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Gordes, and Roussillion) are all under an hour’s drive away, but having already visited those sites during a previous trip, we found ourselves perfectly content to spend most of our time enjoying the estate, the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the sauna, gym, and the beautiful lawns. The continental breakfast is delicious, and for lunch and dinner, we drove into the charming town of Orange, only 10 minutes away. What contributed significantly to the pleasure of our stay is the quality of the service we received from the staff – helpful, considerate with impressive attention to detail. We will definitely stay here again!
Just to say: The pictures in the Internet do not correspond with every room, at least not with the one we ad (1st floor, right behind the chimney) the room is actually clearly on the downside. Outside temperature at night some 10 Celsius; no heating.. Breakfast: in France you would expect some more cheese than just a piece of from goats. Pretty dark inside; watch your step at the entrance!
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a nice indoor pool. Unfortunately we were only told about by other guests the morning we left.
The garden is very nice and in summer surely a major plus.
Without doubt one of the favorite places we stayed at during our vacation in Provence! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts in the charmful outdoor Bar. The staff was extremely friendly, our rooms and the commune area (with a big and gorgeous chimney) were clean, quiet and pleasant. The breakfast was exceptional with home-made pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice (appreciate this!) and the inside pool and the Hamam were a real treat. We had two great evenings there, which obviously also added up to the experience..
All respect to the hosts who does a great job; a true sample of a great location and excellent hospitality!
