The location is perfect, every place in Toulouse can be reached easily by walking and it has a very large public parking underground. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is acceptable. Reception is very friendly. We had a room on a side street and no noise was detected. The main street is very busy and noisy
The staff gave us a very friendly welcome on arrival. Our room (we had a corner room) was even better than expected, large, comfortable and very clean with nice views (good for a bit of people watching). The shower was great, and the towels also good. Even though it was very central, it was quiet inside the hotel. It was just so easy to get around from here, we could walk everywhere. Highly recommended!
Location always makes the initial impact for hotels. Pere Leon is perfectly located for the majority of Toulouse attractions. Despite being next to a Metro station, with a bus stop outside the door as well, we walked in all directions from here, seeing so much of Toulouse and surrounding areas in Carcassonne and Albi.
We arrived by plane, taking the T2 tram to Palais de Justice, then a ten minute walk to the hotel. But, as mentioned, you can use other methods of transport.
The staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful. Giving us every opportunity to practise our French, but being able to support in English as necessary.
The room we had was very adequate with a very comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities, air conditioning, hot and powerful shower and excellent TV quality. The room was nice and quiet on the third floor.
The hotel does do breakfast. You can obtain lunch (2-4pm?) but not evening meals. However, there are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area that you will find one suitable to your taste/price.
This is an excellent hotel, absolutely ideal for a stay in Toulouse. We stayed for six nights very happily.
Pere Leon is in an excellent positon in Toulouse, not far from the river and also the main square.
Room 103 is a diasability friendly room with a large bathroom and 2 windows as is a corner room.
Pere Leon is good value for money , clean and very pleasant to spend a few nights.
Cannot comment on breakfast or the restaurant as we did not eat there
Staff are very helpful and yoyu can leave your bags in storage for the day.
Toulouse is a beautiful city and well worth visiting.
I decide to stay at the Pere Leon based on the reviews I read and can confirm it is really a great value for money. The hotel is very central, few minutes away from the Capitole and other attractions, but also perfect if you are there on business too.
The metro stop is just outside the door meaning you can get to/from the airport very conveniently.
The rooms are spacious and the bed comfortable. There is a free bottle of water and coffee in the room.
The buffet breakfast is not big, but worth the cost at 10€.
