Well maintained room, staffs are nice and helpful and services easy to access. Only downside is the location of rooms. It's difficult to find them through a series of claustrophobic alleyways. The airport shuttle is really helpful.

+1
Stayed the night before an early flight and the room was warm, beds - comfortable, and room - quiet, even though you are right next to the airport. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and we even got a free drop off at the terminal to check our bags on the night before the flight and a pick up too. The drop off in the morning didn’t start till 5am ( it’s normally 4am) so the staff were going to arrange a taxi for £6 but as it’s only a 10 min walk to T2 we walked.
Easy to find and straight off the motorway this is a great airport hotel that’s not expensive.

We have stayed in this hotel twice before catching an early flight. In the meantime my wife's mobility has deteriorated and on our last visit we found the combination of steps up into the hotel lobby, and then further steps along the passageway too much to cope with when hauling suitcases. We also found that the steps in the passage poorly lit due to 2 lights not working. We had asked for a room along the first part of the passage before the steps but this did not materialise. We shall be looking for level accommodation on our next trip in April 2020 at another hotel.

Having stayed here a few times, granted a few years ago, as the hotel is quite convenient for an overnight stay with parking we were very disappointed with our recent stay. The hotel now appears very shabby and in need of renovation and renewal. The carpets in the corridors were filthy particularly outside the entrance to the staff room were there was a thick layer of introdden grease. The decor is tired although there was evidence of recent painting namely pots of paint littering the corridors.it was obvious that pre decoration had been done around the prints that had hung on the wall.
Bedroom adequate size but poorly equipped with no drinking water, poor lighting (one light bulb blown) hairs in the bath. I don't think the cleaning could have been very intensive as we found a child toy left on the floor by the drawers by a previous occupant.
In future we will stick to one of the "chains" that have more consistent standards.
