Firstly, this room is digusting. It is dirty, the linens are old and there is a smell of old sweat permeating in the room, saggy bed etc.
I have relied on Booking.com as I have always trusted this site in the past with my accommodation needs. This 'room' is not the room that I booked. This room is not the room in the photo when I made the booking. I advised the owner/manager Brian Rielly of this and he insists that it is. Clearly the photos indicate that it is not. When I told Brian that I wanted the room in the photo, he told me that there would be an upgrade fee of €10 per night. I will not pay the extra as I paid for the room in the photo..which is NOT the room I am in.
There is a quaint little table in the room. that I booked. My mother likes to read and I thought tgat would be perfect for her. She is flying home to Canada on Tuesday morning and I need to make other arrangements for accommodation as this place is absolutely disgusting and I can't bear to have this place her last memory of Ireland.
I would like to leave now but my mother is exhausted from few days of travel.
I am requesting a refund of one night so I can book elsewhere.
I will be leaving a negative review for this accommodation. In looking at the past reviews, I see that this property has a history of poor reviews. Several reviews question why Booking.com continues to work with this property....as do I.
I will think twice myself before utilizing Booking.com again if these are the types of listings that are being offered.
Please advise of a refund as soon as possible. I am ashamed to have brought my mother to such a place.

We booked this apartment because of the supposed great location & due to booking quite last minute, the price was good in comparison with other properties.
The owner / main person to contact was very helpful before arrival, and gave lots of information about the area including recommendations on places to eat and drink / taxi numbers etc. However, our opinion quickly changed on arrival.
We were told that if arriving before check in time then there was somewhere we could leave our bags. This turns out to be a cleaners cupboard that was rammed full of cleaning products, a washing machine, porridge boxes and laundry. The cupboard was not locked and was available for anyone else staying in the other apartments to access.
The front door has been damaged, the bottom of the door is broken & so is the area around the lock.
When entering the apartment, we were in complete shock as the pictures are NOT a true reflection of the apartment. This is hardly an apartment, it had a small kitchenette with a double bed inside, leaving barely enough room to walk past & a small bathroom.
The place was absolutely freezing (considering it wasn’t actually cold outside)! One electric wall heater that smelt of burning when you turned it on, so unsafe & unable to use.
The bed was an absolute disgrace! Mattress was completely stained with blood & god knows what else. Duvet and pillows extremely thin with very old bedding on that didn’t match or even look clean. Even found people’s socks & other items behind the bed.
Bathroom ceiling was stained brown / mouldy. The side of the shower was about an inch thick with black mould. Exposed pipes under sink & sink coming away from the wall.
Ceiling in the kitchenette was completely coming away. Chipped tiles on the floor throughout the apartment, chipboard peeling on worktops.
The whole place was just falling apart & looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for several years, let alone maintained.
We both felt very let down and unsafe and because of that we did not even stay one night at this property & immediately booked somewhere else.

We left after one night, although we had booked the "apartment" for 5 nights. The room was simply too bad. We have been to more than seventy different countries and travel around hundred days a year.
The place is a tourist trap. From the photos and the text on Booking.com we had a good impression. It was all a lie. Very small room (nothing to do with an apartment) with a useless so-called kitchen with 4 totally rusty hobs, bad maintanance, dirty, impossible bed, pillows was a joke, courtyard was like a junkyard.
We are not rich. Allways travel budget. Normally never complain. You get what you pay for - but in this case not.
When we tried to cancel the last 4 nights, it was not ok, Super Central Arpartments only paid 15 percentage of the price back!
Of course we have contacted Booking.com and asked them immediately to drop this place!
