My dad and I stayed here for two nights; the venue, food and staff all made a big impression on us both.

Venue: Modern decor which is both homely and sophisticated. Our room was well presented, clean and comfortable.
* One thing I would say, more so as a note to the management, is that our bathroom towel heater was not working and should be attended to.

Food: As part of the package, we were to receive breakfast and dinner on both days. The food itself was excellent (as can be seen in the picture).
I am also quite a fussy eater, and so I was impressed by the professionalism and attentiveness I was met with when I requested to alter that which was on the menu.

Staff: From the first to the last person we met, we were graced with nothing but smiling, attentive staff.
Two of the dining staff stood out in particular - a young blonde male, and a young female with glasses.

You should be proud of how your hotel runs, and of those who make it run so smoothly.

Booked this hotel as I planned to do a parkrun in Rozelle Country Park and this was the nearest hotel. Was delighted when we arrived. Traditional building in a lovely part of Ayr. We were met by a very friendly lady who was extremely helpful in showing me where the park was. Printing out a map too. The room, number 2, was very large, High ceiling and huge windows. King size bed and good bedding. Only downside was the shower in the bathroom was very small. If you are a large person you would have an issue. Road was quite busy and there was some traffic noise. Think Room 1 would be quieter. £75 for the room. I'll post the food on the restaurant site. It was really good.

We visited again for our 10th Wedding anniversary. Room is fantastic. The food is the best ever. The Haggis Bon Bons are stunning and their steaks are amazing. I fully recommend all to to stay or at least try their food. Staff are very good also.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms spacious, clean and tidy. First night absolutely fine, although cleaner playing music until after 11. Breakfast on first morning, top notch. Second night DJ on until at least 01:00 despite calling twice, I can still hear DJ in bedroom. Why would a DJ play at a location with bedrooms. Won’t be staying here again.

Good Morning

With regards to your comments about the cleaner (Night-porter) playing music until after 11pm. I would like to say that we operate as a restaurant aswell as a hotel. I am sure you would agree that if be turn the music off while we still had customers enjoying there night it would give a negative effect. We also monitor the level of the music is the night goes on with regards tho the level of trade and adjust accordingly. I myself was in the venue at around 1030pm/11pm on the Saturday night and it was myself the lowered the volume to a level that was sufficient

As for the DJ that we had on Sunday night. This was something that we have been advertising for the last 2/3 months. We had it advertised at reception as well as all over social media. This should of been Explained upon booking your rooms. If it wasn't then I it will be something that we as a team will need to rectify in the future.

Kind regards
