The room was like a sauna - with no opening window for natural ventilation, Resulting in a very poor nights sleep !!
The bed was comfortable but the duvet was so warm the lack of natural ventilation made sleeping very uncomfortable,
Apart from that we couldn't wait to leave to experience some fresh air !!
Room rate for a Thursday night was £49 this was reasonable and worth every penny, I then added on the £24.99 meal deal that includes dinner and breakfast.
On arrival we were greeted by Hollie, she was polite, friendly and very pleasant.
She made conversation with my son
Friendly members of staff and if I'm in the area again I would head back.
The breakfast is decent, despite the hotel appearing understaffed and waiting times being long, breakfast came together. The bedroom & bathroom smelled of sewage and the windows cannot open, one issue not helping the other. Hotel costs less online which makes no sense to me and the lift broke down twice.
The staff however are really nice but it would be great to have late check out as an option for a fee. Would not stay again at it is easy to find better value for money but thank you to the staff
We stayed here on our way to Blackpool, and had a lovely stay. The hotel was lovely and clean, and the room was huge. Lots of room for our family, and lovely and peaceful. We all had a great nights sleep.
The breakfast was perfect, as it was order from a menu rather than a buffet.
Would definitely return, and recommend!
Had to go to reception twice in middle of night to tell them to switch heating on, as they do not pick up phones. Heating finally came on at 7am.
Do not park next door unless you come with 5 £1 coins. Nobody in the hotel or the garage opposite has change.
Not budget prices any more, but a definite budget service.
First hotel ever stayed in where I have had to ask for heating to be switched on, room by room.
