COVID safe lockdown refuge a little gem!
This is a lovely guest house that has been very useful during both lockdowns. Each room is equipped with a small kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and sink. It allows me to get food without having to live on takeaways. I have stayed in single and double rooms and I have found them all to be of good quality. The beds are lovely and comfortable. Ray and Kavita provide an in room continental breakfast with cereals, fruit and croissants. This is all stored in the room prior to your visit.

Relaxing weekend trip to see Oxfords highlights
Easy to find with onsite parking. Arrived early and was allowed to leave our car in the car park before check-in time so that we could walk into Oxford. A great walk along the Oxford canal straight into the centre of Oxford. On our return we found a lovely, spacious room with all the facilities you need for a relaxing stay. Very clean and comfortable, kitchenette was very useful. Overall a great place to stay for an Oxford visit.

Mother and Daughter weekend
Lovely trip to Oxford for myself and my daughter. Really warm welcome from the Hotel. Lovely room and the kitchenette was a real winner. Room was clean and comfortable. Close to Oxford - lovely walk down the canal path. Would highly recommend it

Family Friendly B&B
We had a lovely one night stay along with our 10 month old son. We booked on the same day - and the room, including a cot and kitchenette, were ready on arrival later that afternoon, stocked up with all we would need for a care free stay. Kavita and co were exceptionally helpful and friendly, even recommending the 40min canal walk in to the centre of Oxford which we enjoyed (with a regular 10min bus to take us back the other way). Would highly recommend for a short get away to a beautiful city.

Last minute catch-up!
Really good stay close to our family in Oxford booked late but turned out an ideal place to stay. Hotel is situated in a great place for both the city centre and Summertown,easy to walk or use public transport.
Our room was really nice with a lovely bathroom and we really liked having a mini kitchen which was great for the weekend stay. We could have breakfast or have our own snacks! The hotel was quiet and relaxed and Kavita was extremely helpful and accommodating.We have stayed many times in Oxford and found Marlborough house excellent and reasonably priced. We look forward to our next visit, if Covid 19 allows!
