I would recommend this place without reservation. Only 15 mins from the autoroute.

Of all our stays in France, this was the most wonderful. You must try this chateau for an unforgettable experience.

The chateau is a beautiful country manor situated on a hill with incredible views across vineyards in the Beaujolais region, 40 minutes outside of Lyon.

It is every bit a fairy tale with gorgeous gardens, veggie patch, vineyards as far as the eye can see and in summer, despite hot weather everywhere else the fresh breeze blows and creates a pleasant atmosphere.

The host, Edith is just wonderful. She speaks great English and nothing is too much trouble for her. Putting together a delicious breakfast, drinks by the pool, restaurant bookings, wine tastings and generally just a wonderful person to talk to. Thank you Edith for making our stay :-)

The chateau itself has been tastefully decorated and is kept very well. You certainly won't be disappointed with the rooms, the view and the plush white quilt covers.

The proximity to Lyon is actually convenient (with a car). We would spend the day in the city and come back for a relaxing dinner in the chateau or spend all day at the chateau and drive into Lyon for an evening meal.

We will always remember this wonderful stay. THANK YOU!

P.s make sure you pick up some of their wonderful wine (red and rose were great!)

We stayed here for 2 nights on our trip from the South of France back to Belgium. it's a beautiful renovated mansion in THE Middle of THE vineyards. It's about 30 km from Lyon, close to Villefranche with shops and restaurants and THE Saône Area.
THE Area known as Pierres dorees is a very beautiful part of THe beaujolais, with sometimes à hint of Tuscany.
There's à really nice swimming pool, à billiards room, 5 guest rooms. Breakfast is plentiful, possibility to taste THE wines, and nothing's too much trouble. Would definitely recommend!
