It was unfortunate that there was so much garbage in our room, putting a damper on an otherwise wonderful stay. It was difficult to trust that proper sanitization had occurred during this time of covid. Loved that the pool was shallow so my kids could touch. Loved the room size. Excellent location

We enjoyed our stay but the breakfast was a huge disappointment. Bagged breakfast. No choice. We were told tea / coffee in our room. Came to use the machine it was filthy. We chose this hotel partial for the breakfast which we ended up having to go out and buy our own breakfast at a added cost. Very disappointed. Due to covid we had to book a time to use the pool which ended up being over booked . Pictures of the pool do not represent its true size. It’s much smaller.

Hotel was super clean, very polite staff. Even talked to my son. As he was asking why it was so fogging there. They told him I delte was the manager he was always friendly tries to get us a better deal. The young girl that was talking to her name started was a j cant remember it. She was amazing and friendly even the house keeping
Even though I disnr want my room cleaned til I checked out. (As I didnt see a point if I was stay another night) even they had a guy cleaning washing the floors and stuff in the lobby.. would diff make another trip there and will tell people how great it was

Only thing that I didnt like (put it's for our safety that the kids can only go in the water for a hour) but that's not the hotels fault. Witj covid ounderstandS so I would rate this place at 10

This hotel has many positive and some negative aspects.

Positive: It is quite affordable and you can easily negotiate a better price at the lobby. The breakfast is generally good. It includes a bag of yogurt, orange juice, muffins and cereal bar. The staff is amazingly friendly and super attentive. The rooms are clean and they offer good neutrogena toiletries in the bathroom. It is quite close to downtown and shopping malls. The pool has a very fun slide (You need to reserve it though)

Negative :
It is noisy. At night sometimes it is hard to sleep because you can hear the steps, kids running, screams on other rooms and halls. The blankets in the room window don't fully ensure the window stays dark in the morning.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn St. John New Brunswick on Mar.24/20.Todd Stanton (front desk) was super helpful and could not do enough for us.Room was very spacious and very clean.We will definitely stay at The Hampton Inn when back to the city. M&J

Hi Natalie, Typically we do require a credit card to guarantee a reservation. There would be no charge at the time of booking to this card unless you booked a prepaid rate. When you arrive at the hotel we could then accept a cash or debit payment with deposit. If you would prefer to reserve a room without a credit card please contact me directly and I am sure we can make arrangements.
