I cannot say enough about my visit last October with my friend Jaimie. We stayed in the Ocean Front Jr Suite for 5 nights and had the most amazing experience. This was my 8th time in Los Cabos and my 4th stay at the Marquis. The reasons why I continue to come back is due to the impeccable service, the delicious food, the amazing room views and the attentive staff.
Since we lived at the pool, I have to personally thank the pool staff lead by Azucena and her team, Javier, Arturo, Oscar and Alberto. They all ensured that we never had to leave our lounge chairs for food or a cold drink. (Shout out to Chantel our chef that made us a special sea food platter) The entertainment crew which included Mike, Aron, and DJ Johnny? were constantly busy recruiting guests to join in on the various activities the resort has to offer. (thank you, Mike, for the great ping pong battle)
Last but not least, I would like to personally thank Salvador (Food and Beverage Manager) and Liliana (Manager of Guest Services) for all of the personal attention to make sure that we had the best vacation ever. Truly, with these two at the helm I believe the service would not have been as special.
Thank you again for everyone at the Marquis for a truly remarkable experience and we will be back again in the near future.

My boyfriend and I visited Marquis at the end of October 2019. This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a more relaxing vacation spot; it's a smaller resort than other places. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a welcome drink and a fresh towel. The weather at this time of year was about 85 and sunny the entire week.

Activities include archery, rifle shooting, wine and tequila tasting, "mini golf", football, beach and pool volleyball, "Casino night" and a few other things. If there aren't enough people to join, they usually scrap the activity. Over the weekend, they had a fire show and a few more exciting activities, although we did not stay long enough to experience them. They rotate some of the activities every other day. I would recommend more evening activities, as there isn't much to do after 5pm besides going to dinner. Mike, Aaron, Christian, and DJ Johnny were all great and lots of fun to hang out with.

Restaurants: There were 4 free restaurants to choose from, Sakke (Sushi, Teppanyaki, Habachi - Habachi required reservation mostly indoor seating but outdoor option), Pergola (Italian - outdoor), a Mexican restaurant I forget the name of (indoor and outdoor option). We had heard from other guests that the room service was top notch, although we did not order off of this menu. There is also a bar above the pool/outdoor area that is open in the evening. You can also order off the menu by the pool and have food delivered. The ceviche is particularly delicious. Overall, the food at this resort is of very high quality. You can eat breakfast outdoors off the menu, and near the weekend there is a buffet available to choose from (though I personally thought the menu was delicious to order off of).

Added fees (things we didn't do): the spa, the French restaurant, excursions

Things to Note: If you're younger and looking for a more lively experience, I would recommend either booking a different, larger resort or sitting on the right side of the outdoor pool area. However, it was still a very nice trip. There is no swim up bar (the only thing we would have changed if we could), but the staff is pretty quick about getting your drinks and food to you and coming by frequently to ensure you don't need anything. (Some of the staff was a bit slow in this regard even though there weren't a lot of people outside, but we would like to point out Javier in particular, as he was absolutely AMAZING and particularly speedy and attentive.)

Not sure where to begin, this Resort was Amazing ! Truly a wonderful Resort to celebrate my husbands 60th Birthday, we stayed for 4 nights, quite a long journey from Melbourne Australia. Staff are so friendly and obliging, nothing was a bother with fresh smiling faces.. From the pastries delivered through our servery hatch each morning. Daily refilled Mini Bar and snacks. 5 Star Restaurants all part of the fully inclusive inclusions, Japanese Teppanyaki, Mexican and a Gestation French dinner which was the only upgrade we needed to purchase, and themed Afternoon & dinners each evening. Food and Beverages are available all day long with freedom to have all meals & drinks delivered to your room, poolside or at the Restaurants. The coffee shop opens all day supplying pastries, fruit, ice cream, toasted panni's, smoothies and the best coffee also all inclusive. Our suite had a plunge pool, lounge and dining area very spacious. Room (608). The property is so well maintained and cleanliness to the highest level.
The Spa treatment and facilities were over the top Amazing !!!! Felt like we went to heaven !
Little pricey but worth every penny. The gym and Steam Room are state of the Art. Cannot recommend Marquis Los Cabos highly enough. Loved our Stay.

We stayed at the Marquis Los Cabos Oct. 27th through Nov. 2nd, 2019. This was our 6th visit to Mexico and our 3rd visit to Los Cabos. The Marquis is now our favorite vacation spot. The beach is so beautiful & the sound of the waves therapeutic. The views are amazing!
The beach, as I mentioned, is absolutely beautiful. You cannot swim in the sea at the Marquis, but I prefer the sights and sound of the waves over swimming. We walked on the beach everyday. We might have run in to 1-2 other people on the beach. The sand is soft. Walking to the rocks provided a great photo op.
We stayed in the ocean front junior suite. I cannot stress the how gorgeous the view is from the balcony. Every suite faces the ocean. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the attention to detail in decorating the room. The water pressure in the shower was even adequate. There is a beautiful armoire with plenty of hangers.
The food is the best we have experienced in Mexico. Breakfast was amazing. So many options. The huevos racheros was delicious. There are menu options at each restaurant. The best part, we were able to get mexican food anytime we wanted, with mexican choices on the room service menu. They had a BBQ beach night and the steak, chicken and ribs were amazing. I have not had good experiences with steak in Mexico and the Marquis made amazing steak. The suishi at Sakke is amazing. All the restaurants were beautiful, too. The staff at the restaurants went out of their way to get us whatever we needed or wanted. The sweet shop serves sandwiches, sweet treats and amazing coffee all day. The vanilla lattes are delicious. Room service is 24hrs & was delivered quickly. We highly recommend the tortilla soup.
The pool area is beautiful with two infinity pools facing the beach. The hotel was not busy the first few days of our visit, but even when more guests arrived, we never felt like it was crowded. At times we felt like we had the hotel to ourselves. We never had issues getting a great spot by the pool. Guests did not get up early and reserve chairs, which we very much appreciated. There is also access to as many pool towels as you need. The service at the pool was great, too. The pool staff is very attentive. The hotel grounds are beautiful. Cactus and palm trees everywhere.
The lobby is even more beautiful in person. Breathtaking views.
The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They called us by name everyday. They make you feel so special. I miss some of the staff already. We want to visit, again, just to see the staff. We have to thank Rodrigo and Juan at Vista Ballenos for breakfast, and Teresa at Sakke for dinner. Great people & amazing service. Our absolute favorite is Adriana at Vista Ballenos. She is an amazing person. She remembered us everyday, and seated us at tables with the most amazing views. She ran to the door each morning when she saw us coming, to greet us with the most beautiful smile & hugs. She made sure we had everything we needed. I miss her so much already. Thank you Adriana!! My two girlfriends and I had a magnificent vacation at Marquis Los Cabos Resort & Spa, so I wanted to take the opportunity to recognize those staff members who made certain our stay was the best it could be. The guest service manager Liliana Rivera was very helpful and accommodating with our room request. Isael at the front desk for our check-in was informative and personable. Eliz delivered our bags to our rooms, and he was kind and assisted us in several ways throughout our stay. Adriana, a hostess at the Marquis restaurant Vista Ballenas, was also accommodating and cheerful. Other wonderful staff members included: Viviana, a waitress at Vista Bellanus was gracious and shared a name with one of my friends; Monica, a waitress at the Marquis Pergola Italian restaurant took care of us in a way that was above and beyond; Scarlett, a hostess at Pergola and at the beach party went out of her way to greet and accommodate us; Grace, the enthusiastic, personable front desk concierge arranged the perfect tour; Alberto, a waiter at the Infinity pool did so much more than just serve us food and drinks; Oscar, a waiter at the outdoor restaurant Dos Mares and at the Infinity pool was kind, personable, and funny; Donald, the chef at the Japanese restaurant Sakke wowed us with his cooking and sense of humor; and Yara warmly and efficiently helped us check out on our last day. We have been to several inclusive, adults only hotels in Mexico, and the Marquis far exceeds all of them.

Questions & answers about the rooms

We enjoyed a ocean view room earlier this month. It was on the east side but the views were still amazing. We were prepared to upgrade upon arrival if needed but our room, balcony, and view was more than expected. Our sunrise the first morning from our bed so totally amazing! All rooms did face the ocean but as Brian mentioned some lower floors may have obstructions.

Here right now, and yes, we have one electrical outlet near the breakfast table with two usb outlets. also, the alarm clock has an usb plug that can charge.

Ask for a Hilton/West side plunge pool suite. They are throughout the property and the construction is only on the East side.
