We visit places like Mahabaleshwar to be c
with nature and enjoy the local taste.
This new property has got almost all amenities imported from China. The dental kit, curtains, sofa, mattresses, pillow cover, mirror, crockery, soap, housekeeping trolley......all made in china. These are just few examples. Shame on the managers to import even the dental kit and toothpaste.
The hotel is very compact and it would be wrong to call it a resort. There is hardly any space. It can accomodate about 10-12 cars in the lot with one blocking the other. You can actually touch the parked car from the swimming pool.
The premium rooms were at the two opposite ends of the floor making it difficult for the family. The rooms had a gap between window and curtain , so waking us up early. The hotel had glass facade but not cleaned so making it partially opaque.
The plumbing was faulty and on the three occassions, super hot water came in the jet spray which could burn the bum.
In the shower, no matter, u choose hot or cold , it always gave extreme hot water. There was serious plumbing issue.
Two brothers(seemed like owners) were present and they need a lesson on hospitality. They had a very serious look all the time on the face. All the staff were scared of them.
Food was above àverage.
Really small, over-priced property. There is NO view to the property, the hotel is designed in such a way that the window of any room opens into the pathway, Any room with a glass wall is basically peaking into the other room. Rooms are a joke! There is no cleanliness- we found hair on the floor of the room, the staff doesn't clean it on time. We were out for the whole day and came back to the room in same condition at night, then waited an hour after 3 reminders for the staff to change the sheets and clean washroom.
More so, it is at approx the same price as other better properties which are in its vicinity, we regretted not staying there to save 1-2K Rs. The property is over priced.
The restaurant had mosquitoes and flies all over the food, they kept running short of breakfast and tea and took more than 20-30 mins for the refill. My husband and I ended up suffering from terrible stomach ache and lose motion after our breakfast.
The swimming pool is not maintained and is really small- you can see the main road from the location and cars are parked right next to the pool. It is smack in the center and really small- hence the parking, restaurant, main road and reception surround it. So you basically cant take a dip- its a decoration.
I booked this property using Make My Trip but even after getting the confirmed reservation I got the call from hotel that booking is not confirmed. MMT called me again to apologise that due to server issue I got wrong booking confirmation. Though hotel was fully packed that day but staff was courteous enough to accommodate us after 2 hours of struggle with MMT management. Food was good, rooms were neat and clean. This is a new property so linen and towels were brand new. Hygiene was perfect in every sense. Except the fact that I couldn’t enjoyed the pool as there was sand storm a day before and pool was too dirty. Parking is available for private vehicles. Place is very much approachable to almost every tourist/scenic location. Room service is slow and sometime it was not even available. I am deducting one star for service and pool.
There were not enough reviews for this hotel when we visited here and so we had very little idea about how it looked from outside except for the view of the rooms and the reception and swimming pool. I was quite taken aback when we reached the hotel as there is no campus. A very compact campus with swimming pool in front. Your car would be parked outside by the valet. The swimming pool is very small but properly maintained. We got a room on the second floor with swimming pool view. The surroundings are not very good but the rooms were new and were properly maintained. The washroom was quite modern and clean and they provide comb and dental kits in the washrooms. You won't get any dessert other than gajar ka halwa in food the taste was average. I ordered khichdi for kid, though the taste was good when asked about some extra butter they said it would be charged. Two small school package for butter were charged 20 RS. Tea though tasty was expensive. First night in the resort was okay but the second night we faced power cut in the wee hours and nothing worked not even the intercom. My husband had to walk up to the reception to ask for help and even the electrician couldn't help as their back up wasn't working. Electricity was restored only at 7:30 am and my kid was quite uncomfortable and woke up way early than usual. We decided to check out as we couldn't have managed with another sleepless night the day we had to drive for 5 hours to reach Mumbai. We asked them for refund which they initially were not keen on but we argued that if they can ensure that there won't be any power cut the following night, they gave up and thankfully they were graceful enough to admit it. They need to work on their power back up for a pleasant stay for guests.
