Spent 2 nights whilst en route to Durban. Met mein host, Paulie, who was hospitable, informative and a great chef. My room was spacious, spotless and comfortable and quiet. The property is full of indigenous beauty and sadly I didn't have enough time to explore. However, I'll be back.

We were looking for a quiet place to stay not too far away from Kenton-on-Sea and the start of the Cannon Rocks trail with its wonderful sand dunes. That's how we stumbled upon Intaka Lodge. The extra interesting thing about the lodge is its location practically in the Kariega game reserve.
The lodge is set in very spacious grounds which give it a lot of privacy. The garden with swimmingpool is perfect to linger and relax.
We stayed in the Kingfisher Suite. This is an oversized room, a lot of space to sit and walk around, with a great bathroom.
Breakfast was very good with tasty prepared eggs.
The hosts were helpful and informative.
A little point of criticism: the pool area could have received some more care when we were there.

Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. room was very comfortable and airy. Surroundings were incredibly picturesque!! Very close to Kenton-on-sea if a beach visit is desired but also equally close to game reserves to experience the "Big 5", Tranquil pool area also available if you fancy a day lazing by the pool....

We stayed at Intaka lodge for the first 2 nights of our Honeymoon. We had an amazing time at this lodge, the two people managing this lodge are wonderful people and we got exceptional service! We would recommend this lodge to everyone looking for accommodation in this area. You will have a wonderful time!! We stayed in the King fisher room, it is huge and the bathroom is lovely. We loved everything at this lodge. Thank you to Reetha and Paul for making our stay incredible. We will be visiting again soon.
