Very nice hotel, located very close to the beach. Nice hotel amenities including an outdoor pool and a superb service - extremely friendly staff ready to please your requirements.
Choice of food served for breakfast and dinner is huge, and the food is really tasty,
My friends and I really have only the nicest words about this hotel.
The only disadvantage is car access, since hotel is located on the street curve.
Verry nice personel and verry good food on breackfast and dinner i recomend , not vrry good swiming pool (to deep for us 2.5m ) the personel from bar are nice but not speacking any ather language then serbian in rest i recomend and probably we will go again next summer
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 5 days, and the hotel was great and the staff at the reseption was very friendly and helpful. But (!) at the bar by the pool we found the most uprofesional hotel worker we've ever seen. Stefan did nothing but to sit on his phone and didn't pay attention around him at all. We waited for 15 minutes to order lunch but no Stefan came. Evntually we went over to him behind the bar counter to order food, and even then he didn't even notice us until we were almost sitting on his lap. Safe to say we left no tips and we are left wondering how someone like him can work at such a nice hotel. Oh, and he doesn't speak english. At all.
The pool is very pleasant and the view from it is stunning. The food is excellent; a wide variety and of high quality. The waiters are very attentive and efficient. You can get the bus from outside the hotel into the town. The area along the beach is lovely to stroll down in the evening.
As it usually happens in this part of the world, unfortunately, this hotel does not live up to a 4-star hotel expectations. It could be rated as a good 3-star though, and is fairly nice overall: nice an clean outside and in the hallways, much more dated inside with furnishings crying for replacement or at least a deep steam cleaning. Stunning view from the balcony though (sea side) with huge cruise ships passing by a few times a day and night (breath-taking !!!). Pool area is nice and clean too. Parking space is indeed limited, but we managed to find a space every day, so where not really affected by that.
As some other reviewers mentioned, getting to the beach might be a trick if you're not up to walking up and down steep stairs (the path leading to the beach has a looong stairway). I found it quite enjoyable though or at least useful as a nice daily exercise :).
Food was plentiful and mostly nice except for some odd dry and tasteless fish or another dish here and there (we had a half board). Three main reasons I can only give it 2 stars:
a) dinner drinks (again, it is a half-board): for crying out loud, not even water for free! I mean, it's expected to pay for your alcohol or any other 'fancy' soft drink, but all I wanted is plain water, yet you have to pay for that 'luxury' too. You can have it for breakfast, but god forbid, not for dinner - isn't that a lovely marketing trick?
b) EVERYONE is smoking around in public areas, and yes, that includes the room where you're trying to have a breakfast enjoying what is supposed to be a lovely morning breeze. No consideration given to anyone else, including children;
c) last, but definitely not least, extremely rude staff. For reference, I'm used to Eastern European style of servicing, i.e. I know that people are generally less 'smiley' and that's fine and expected. But being told off by a waiter for him making a mistake and bringing a wrong type of juice - that's a very different experience! And when I say 'told off', I mean literally that: he burst up in a 3-min speech in a loud angry voice (in front of a child as well) with very dramatic hand gestures. Luckily, I did not understand a word as he chose to do that in his native language rather than English, so I can only guess how humiliated and ashamed I should have felt for pointing out his mistake and not accepting what was not ordered. Don't remember his name by now, something like Srdjan or Srdan - a lot of consonants. In all the fairness, he was the only one remarkably bad like that, most of the staff were fairly adequate and even nice;
