It is a unique hotel, especially in Ranthambhore, since its built like a palace, is built on a vast area and is surrounded by a high fort like stone-wall. Quite neatly kept and no major issues with the building since its just 10 years old. Gives opportunity for some great snaps. Has a decent pool and an ok spa, which is a bit pricey. Surprised that the hotel did not have very high occupancy as its just slightly more expensive than most mid-range properties. Is a great location for corporate tours as well, since it has lots of space to offer. Nice detail in decor of spaces such as cafe, reception, lounge etc. Not quite 5-star like but then they are not targeting that space I think... Its more like a large Rajasthani Haveli with a bit of rustic feel mixed with the service and luxury. Best part is the service quality in the cafe. There is no room-service and no TV, which can be a bit of issue with kids, but the staff was nice enough to serve us in room once since there was'nt much occupancy that day. Can add more activities such as a pool/billiards room, children's play area etc to make use of the free time between safaris. Since front-office staff seems locally trained/groomed, they did not seem warm enough although were polite in demeanor. Property also seemed very lonely, almost abandoned on our last day when occupancy was very low, which could be a botheration in low season/weekdays.

This is a beautiful hotel near Ranthambhore National Park with stunning architecture, grounds and very well appointed, comfortable rooms. All our meals were absolutely delicious and the staff so friendly, helpful and fun. It is like an oasis and we enjoyed the pool areas between safaris. We really enjoyed the tiger documentary about Machli the night before our safari - this gave us insight into tigers' behaviour and habitat

The layout and grounds of this hotel are spectacular and the walk as your first enter the hotel to the reception sets your expectations for the hotel and you are not disappointed.
The gardens and pool area were superb, the pool was a lovely temperature and the sun beds were very comfortable with free pool towels provided. The bar staff come out to see you when you are at the pool to see if you would like drinks which is a nice touch.
Our room was beautiful, we had a whole section of the top of the hotel to ourselves, including a private outside seating area. The room was comfortable, large and clean, as was the bathroom. Our room had views over the pool and the surrounding area.
The food was exceptional and the staff were exceedingly pleasant and helpful. When they found out we were due to go on a long drive the day we were leaving they offered to pack some extra fruit, breads etc for our journey.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it was probably the best hotel we stayed at the whole time in India, and believe me i am very fussy!
Wifi is free and works really well.
The only negative i have and its really only very minor is that it would be nice to have a tv in the room so you have the option to watch if you wanted.

We had been planning this vacation during our Diwali break from the month of June. Response from Alsisar hotels was so reassuring that we had no doubts of where we were going to stay.
Mr Rajveer from the Front Office was so helpful from even before we met. Our numbers kept swelling up, from a family of 5 we finally were 10 who ultimately made the trip. We had managed to book some safaris on our own but with additions we couldn't book but Rajveer & Ajay ensured that all those who wanted to go for the safaris were accommodated. Transportation back & forth from Jaipur airport & Sawai Madhopur station was all handled by Rajveer.
The resort we could spot from a distance & it looked beautiful. We were greeted very warmly by the staff & finally could put a face to Rajveer. Extremely pleasant & ever smiling. Nahargarh can take a bow, all their staff are very helpful & caring. We were there for 5 days & they knew what all we liked & catered to all our demands. All the meals are inclusive in the room tariff along with tea/coffee & biscuits early in the morning before the safaris & evening when one returned from the evening safari. Since they have a lot of overseas tourists, food is not spicy as such but we were indulged & given spicy food & stuffed rotis & naans were made for us. Two dinners were served outdoors & we had a special Diwali dinner outdoors with local musicians too. The Captain & his team were excellent. Felt like royalty, totally pampered.
The property is beautiful, lush green & table chairs spread all over so you can have a little rest or lone time wherever & whenever. Two swimming pools & a spa which was used by all of us. We had a totally relaxed stress free time & a wonderful holiday. I would recommend Nahargarh to one & all especially for the experience & I would love to keep going back there.
