Our 18yr old son stayed here as it was a cheaper option for him that was close by to the hotel we should have stayed in. I hadn't actually seen the apartment however I have left excellent as my son told me how lovely the lady owner was Eleni and how she cleaned their room thoroughly each day. We booked a basic room as it was a cheap option for them, and turned out to be ideal for them. It had a lovely view (son took a photo), as I say, it was regularly cleaned, even the shower curtain was replaced everyday.

The location was ideal, walking distance to Vlycha beach which has another hotels facilities which could be used (bar, toilets, sunbeds etc). A short taxi ride (and normally bus route, when not in covid circumstances!) to Lindos centre and beach. Parking available if you hire a car or moped). The lady owner, Eleni was lovely with them, advising them where the supermarket was, ordering taxis for them, placing water in the apartment on the first night for them, tidying up after them and putting things straight in their room (which they should have done themselves!). She really did look after them and would recommend this place completely. There are some with sea views I believe and more upgraded rooms but they just wanted a cheap and chearful place and this ticked all the boxes. Thank you for watching out for them and guiding them.

The building was new and surrounded by a well-kept garden. The studio for three people was wide and clean, the kitchen area was minimal but supplied with all necessary items, fridge and kettle. The bathroom would need some renovation: the shower had no cabin yet a plastic curtain, the shower head was unstable and the water flow was irregular. The wide balcony was very nice and supplied with table, chairs, and a clotheshorse very useful for beach towels and swimsuits. It was a pity that the balcony had no sun umbrella or curtains, as a consequence it was impossible to have breakfast or lunch outside. During our stay, bed sheets and towels were changed after three days when cleaning the room, but I think that change could be asked earlier if necessary. The position is very good just in front of Vlycha beach and close to the beautiful village of Lindos, ideal as starting point to visit Rhodes by car. The landlady was very attentive and helpful.

I had a problem arriving at midnight, some confusion as to how to enter as gate was closed. I quickly phoned and was told how to get in and where my room was. The room itself was good with the added bonus of a large balcony, in which I chilled out at night time. The bathroom could have been better. Small shower area meaning lack of space once shower curtains are used. The location is fine, bit off the beaten path but a few restaurants and mini marts around.

We visited Vlycha for a family wedding at St. Paul's Bay. Most of the other guests were staying at a hotel next door but it was too expensive for 4 of us so we chose the self catering option. Eleni is very friendly and helpful - she speaks some English. The apartment was clean (it was cleaned every few days during our stay. There didn't seem to be a regular pattern but it was 2, 3 or 4 days. Sheets and towels were also changed then and the cleaner was very thorough.) The Wifi was fine for us but tour 2 teenagers complained a bit! The air conditioning was good. Beds were comfy. Catering facilities were basic but adequate. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment (which is, in reality, a 2 room apartment but we spent most of our time outdoors so it didn't matter) next to the car hire office - it wasn't a problem. The supermarket is a 12 minute walk up the hill. It had everything we needed. Vlycha seems to be largely set up for all inclusive hotels - there isn't much there. There aren't many bars and restaurants, nowhere to stroll to. The beach, however is lovely (pebbles though), the sea is beautiful and it is much quieter than the more popular resorts. Lindos is 5 minutes away by taxi (9 euros) and you can hire a car for 90 euros for 3 days to explore the island - which I would recommend.

Visiting Rhodes in August was very bad, and after others islands seeing, Rhodes was the worst.
Then Vlycha was very bad location with anything there.
The studios named "Vlycha Beach" had the room very dirty, the cleaning made every 3 days with towels changed
Floor dirty never clean in 9 days.
Shower with plastic no protection from water.
The Mrs Eleni kindly gentle but with no ways to make tourists comfortable.
Suggest to stay far from vlycha.
