I noticed before we came here on Holiday there wasn’t many current reviews and not many from British tourists.
This was our first visit to Corsica and we has previously used Eurocamp, in high season so it’s hard to compare. However saying that, I can imagine in high season why the site is full and the entertainment is on the atmosphere will be amazing.
First of all, if you have never been to Corsica you will need a car. The roads in areas are terrifying but well singed and many are new. There was no crazy locals and plenty of spots to pull over so it wasn’t hard to get around.
The location of the site is great, it’s in a quite road and your about half way between Bastia and the airport.
The staff were all really friendly and helpful. They spoke English which took the pressure off a bit.
The supermarket on site was closing for the season so not much stock, but there is a Casino supermarket 5 minutes away which is brilliant. It’s like a Walmart.
The pool area again was really well done with nice decking and seating. The pool was not heated so the water was freezing, but in the high of summer it will be lovely.
The site is laid out well, you are on the beach and there is several paths that lead you, there is also several out door showers on the walkways to/from the beach which was great for washing off.
We hired a chalet, but the touring facilities look good and were well laid out.
Our chalet and decking was good, only lacking a BBQ!
There is a couple of Pizza van, located close the site, there was one located at the beach so we had pizza on the beach for tea which was lovely.
Overall can’t fault the site, it’s great in the off season so can Imagine it will be brilliant in high season
Nice campingground and mobil-home's. They are renewing. (2019) Building more mobile homes. Very modern and very clean. No BBQ allowed in case of setting fire. On arrival the reception let us wait for the key from 13.30 till 16.45 although our mobile -home was already clean. Not custom friendly should I say. Had no more problems otherwise. Nice friendly people. Lots of activities for the family. Activities give noise till 23.00 pm.
Two things I would gladly recommend the direction of this camping. Install lights and something to hang your clothes on in the toilets, washcabins and showers. And do something on the wooden floor at the pool, nice but dangerous. We saw LOTS of people (for little kids specially not nice) with splinters in their feet!!! The people who work there wear shoes or flip-flops. The campingguests are not allowed. Directly on the beach.
I would like recommended this camping first of all for the reception efficiency. Place is nice, clean and quiet, close to the nice beach and with nice swimming pool. Shuttle to visit Bastia available more time during the day.
This is a large well maintained campsite just 20 min away from the port of Bastia. We brought our touring caravan over from the Italian port of Livorno. Reception could do with putting a few extra staff on around ferry arrival times but they were extremely helpful re finding us a suitable pitch when we didn’t like the one assigned (right at the back of the site). The site sits directly on a long sandy beach however spaces on the beach front are not marked out and are a bit of a free for all with limited electricity points. Set further back are marked pitches but some are definitely better than others. Water points are scattered around the site, there are large toilet / shower blocks (no toilet seats or paper) with haphazard hot water. There is a great on site mini market open from 8am to 10pm selling everything you could want and the prices were competitive with the nearest supermarket. The pool area was adequate size, v clean and remarkably you could get a lounger whatever time of day you turned up. The sea is a lovely temperature off of the beach and the sea is lovely & clear. The site has a park area and a somewhat disjointed entertainment / refreshment set up. There is a covered area for early evening entertainment, set apart from that is an area called the Cacoon with vending machines, chairs and a TV (one night a live band played here) a few min walk away is a beach bar & restaurant. Not all that and it appears to be owned separately to the campsite. Perfectly adequate just nothing special and odd that they don’t have a bar area near to their entertainment. Supermarket (if you needed it) & petrol station all a few min away,
Perfect if it wasnt directly below the incoming flights to the airport. Fligjts stop overnight though.
Other than that a very neat camping ground.
Good facilities with swimming pool and fantastic beach. We camped just 20m away from it and enjoyed so much.
Great location to the ferries. Took us 20 min from there.
The supermarket is top notch. Has everything you need and more. Local products. Good selection and very clean. Even german style bread which we obviously liked ;-)
